Great video, damp boxes are definitely a game changer. I added a rubber shelf liner on top of my plaster. The waffle kind. It keeps the greenware up off the moist plaster.
Love that idea! I know my video quality isn’t the best but hopefully the material is helpful to someone starting out. I just might steal your idea 😉
I have a taller plastic box and I put about 2 inches of plaster and it works great, I can keep greenware for weeks inside 👍
Hey Aubrey I use some very large flat old unused pottery plaster molds in a damp box if you have any they also work great.
I never thought to do that!
I wonder if using Number 1 pottery plaster instead of plaster of Paris would make them last longer?
That’s definitely possible. I just haven’t wanted to order it and pay shipping when I can get plaster of Paris here. It works well for me.
