Long time ago..I worked in this airport ( Newark NJ)
This video should also be in a New Jersey state travel guide.
You do not have to take nj transit to nyc penn station just take the PATH train from Newark to nyc penn station or nyc downtown. It runs 24/7 for 2.95 .
Used your video as a guide to transfer to NYP from Newark and was very accurate and helpful. Only drawback was that monorail has rather small cabins and it gets crowded during peak hours
It also will work when traveling from anywhere in the Newark area of New Jersey and connects you to the rest of the state. Take the train to Secaucus and then find the line that is en route to the city you are going to. There should be one en route to New Brunswick for anyone at Rutgers.
Great video. It was my first time commuting from Newark to the city. I was nervous about this but this video eased my nerves and allowed me to be very confident upon arrival.
Happy Travels! 👍👍👍
So user-friendly. So economical So timely. So convenient. Way to go, NJ-Transit! You so gratifyingly over-deliver, because it takes about 35 to 40 minutes from EWR to NY Penn! ALL OUR BEST TO YOU!
Definitely! Happy Travels! 👍👍
The US is far behind the rest of the world in rail transit technology..
I must say, EWR is usually used for those who live in New Jersey
I loved Newark airport from their nice and very helpful staff to their clean restrooms! I definitely recommend it!
Do you actually live in New Jersey?
FYI, they are considering to make a new terminal 2
This was helpful I was going to see my grandma in Mexico thanks!
Happy Travels!
Pretty helpful vid. Thought flying in EWR, snag a 24hr shuttle to airport hotels to save $$$, and then shuttle to the airport to either ride the NJ Transet or Newark Express bus.
Cool! Happy Travels!
Thank you i am going to New York in March but i am landing to EWR
Great video very helpful
Thank you , happy to watch 👍🏼😃
Happy Travels! 👍👍
Enjoy your flight to my state
Great video! Thank you!
Quick tip. If you end up in the new Terminal A on a United Flight but were supposed to be in Terminal C, use the shuttle.
Thank you for sharing!
Happy Travels!
@@Hipfig since most people use this airport for New Jersey I had to give this tip.
Helpful video!!
Excelent video, thanks
I wonder why this airport didn’t make a New Jersey travel guide. EWR is usually used by New Jersey travelers
Thank you!
Nice
I also recommend EWR to people who are visiting my state.
Great video me and a 2 friends are going to New York next month we are flying into EWR airport
Happy and safe Travels!
You do realize the main reason EWR was created was for New Jersey travelers like me. But yes, it does work for New York as a third option.
AirTrain Newark is free between terminals and parking areas, but if you enter/exit at the RailLink Station, there’s a fee of $5.50 IN ADDITION to the cost of the NJ Transit or Amtrak ticket. This video wasn’t clear about that.
Also, the ride on NJ Transit is NOT an hour or more; it's usually about 25-30 minutes unless there's track work going on, or there's some kind of emergency that slows service.
Yeah I was confused lol I live in Hamilton NJ and it takes about an hour to get to Penn station in new York in the train, so it made no sense that it would take an hour from Newark to new York since it's next to each other 😂
Also, If anybody is taking the New Jersey Transit train to somewhere in New Jersey, please look at the website.
I ❤ Airports ✈
The Monny Rail ❤️
I understand you can also get to NJ Secaucus to transfer to METRO NORTH to Hudson Valley. Where would you get off for that train??
Never took this....If you find more info then please share here.
I will travel to Newark airport from Vienna. I have 2.20 hours to take airplane from the same airport to Nashville.
Is that time is sufficient as it is my firt time to USA?
I flew into Newark this past weekend and we caught the airport express shuttle straight to time square for $17 per person no waiting on trains and only took about 30 minutes
Great info...thanks for sharing..only $17 per person and no wait...fantastic. 🙂👍
You do realize that now this airport is mainly used for New Jersey
Cool
Happy Travels!
I am coming to EWR airport soon..Do we have baggage check in option for Amtrak train to Pennsylvania State?
Well. No. Not even to other New Jersey locations
On Amtrak you typically just load your own bags onto the car. There are big spaces for bags by the doors. At least that's how it's done in CA.
I bought New york metro unlimited card. Can I use nyc metro card when I go Newark airport from penn station?
Not sure, most probably not. Suggest to check with Card website online.
the metrocard should only work within the MTA in the city. If youre going from pen to neward youll need to buy a amtrak ticket i think
현동 I believe is the NJ transit you will need to get... I bought my ticket from pen station towards Dover Nj and it was only $15.15
Spider-Man should fight vulture here
I will use newark airport when I go back from new york trip. Is it same way from manhattan to newark airport?
Yes, you can go back same way from New York Penn Station. Happy Travels! 👍
Hipfig Travel-Channel thank you. I will go next week
Did you realize you said "New York Transit" at one point in the video?
No, but thanks for catching it. You are good. 👍
How much does the Amtrak ticket cost?
Colton Daffern look it up
$24 Amtrak Northeast Regional Economy EWR-NYP
What About The Path to Newark '
Path to Newark Airport (EWR) from NYC downtown is good as well, however requires transfer to Bus at Newark Penn Station.
If you are traveling from NYC to EWR you can take PATH to Newark Penn Station and from there either take a NJ Transit train to EWR train station or take a bus to the terminals. Taking PATH and bus is cheaper than taking the train. This also works in the reverse direction. Taking the NJ Transit train direct while a little more expensive does have the advantage of there being no connection other than between the NJT train and the EWR AirTrain.
@@lawrencewestby9229 what's a path?
@@kevindodgersguerra2927 PATH is a rail system that connects New Jersey and New York City, it stands for Port Authority Trans Hudson.

How much?
I just have been informed that Terminal One will be the new domestic terminal and they may replace the international terminal and name it Terminal Two
Thanks for sharing this info.
Happy Travels! 👍
Anytime. Enjoy visiting my state if you are going from EWR to somewhere in New Jersey.
Terminals at Newark Liberty are lettered (A, B, C), not numbered.
@@davidthaler7018 I heard that they were building a new terminal
@@coordinator3039 Just checked. Terminal One will replace Terminal A, but I seems strange to use a different designation.
How much is the price from the airport to penn station
The train ticket cost is $15.25 (NJ Transit) and from $30 (Amtrak), each way. On the top, add $5.50 for EWR Airport internal AirTrain portion. So basically $21 from EWR Airport to Penn station.
Hope this info is helpul. Happy Travels!
Per person
Yes, per Adult.

How about if you carry luggages. Seems incovenience for international visitors. Not informative enough.
