You're so clever. These are fantastic. The way you finished it solved a problem I had with a vintage box with a broken lid. It was an inexpensive jewelry box made from a card stock and hinged with paper. Over the years the hinge cracked and broke. I'm going to add a sturdy tape to the inside and outside and cover it with corresponding paper and decorate the same way you finish the tops of your pads. Thanks!

This is great! Been trying to figure out how to cover the shopping/ToDo notepads I make for my desk from notebook offcuts so they look nice and this is perfect. I'll still use the cover offcuts but they'll have some style and I'll still be able to tear the sheets out individually. Thanks again :)

Great idea. I also have my paper stash that includes calendars from giving annual donations. I cover things, make envelopes, etc. I just can not bear to toss, even the used ones, no one is the wiser that they have been used. Envelopes get lined so the calendar part is not seen.
