Hi Sherry. I have my kids make these type of covered composition notebooks. Every year, these composition notebooks are 50 cents at Staples or Wal-mart. They are a tremendous bargain for my students and I. I have them wrap them in plastic packing tape when they are done. They put a hole in the back of the notebook and fish a longer rubber ban to be able to keep their notebooks closed in their book bags. They make some excellent ways to keep them organized. I love your channel. You are always so inspiring to me. Thank you for reminding us to always keep kindness in our hearts. I remind my kids to do this every day! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I pulled out a composition book this morning to write something in and remembered this video. I didn’t have any wallpaper, but you encourage people to use their stash. So I pulled out some gel prints I’d made and used those! My book now looks great! Thank you!

I always take a blank book to family reunions and have each family write down their family members, dates of births and deaths, current addresses, etc.. It's a much loved time capsule. There's sooo many reasons for these books. I greatly appreciate you and your channel. ❤

Thank you so much. I will make Christmas planners, both full size and half size. A few years ago my husband cut a dozen or so composition books in half for me. I think they will make darling planners. I may take the signatures out and insert a couple of card stock pages with tags and pockets for dividers, then sew the signature back in. The possibilities are endless. Thank you so much! I think I will probably leave the top half of the inside back cover as is, that is a brilliant idea! I’ll probably add a generous envelope or gusseted pocket over the multiplication table. I’ll add a few of our favorite family Holiday recipes. I’m all excited now! Thank you.

Just wanted to thank you again, Sherry. I have used so many of your ideas with my crafting students. I do after-school arts and crafts at an Elementary school and my kids always Love your ideas. They always ask me how I come up with them and I tell them that there is this Awesome Lady on CZcams. Her name is Posh the Paper Lady. They just Love, Love, Love them all. We have done the post it note booklets, paper pad books and they have even made their own journals using the loose copy paper. They came out wonderful. My friends and I use books like this for game night. I love the pockets and they would be great for any instructional note cards that we use with some of the more complicated games. I’m also going to add a pen loop and a card stock line maker (ruler) in a back pocket! Thanks for the upgrade to the usual covered book!

Another Beautiful Project! I went out to a different Dollar Tree than the one I usually go to and they actually had the peel and stick wallpaper like this! I can see so many possibilities for using it! I will definitely be making some of these as gifts. I picked out patterns that reminded me of each of my daughters, and my sister-in-law.

Sorry I got in late today. My sister took me out today for my birthday. I love the composition journal. I wii be making several gratitude journals for my grand daughter and my nieces for their first day of college life, lol. So far this is the easiest way to cover a composition book. I love it!! ❤❤

I have used peel and stick wallpaper for several projects. I love it! Need to find a stronger glue tape. Had the paper for home decorating but changed my mind about it! My books aren't holiday themed but they are a far cry from the old composition books. Thank You

These journals are so versatile. I’m thinking of creating these for/with the children I tutor so they can have their own personalized note taking book. You demonstrate and explain each craft piece so clearly and beautifully! The pieces you create are always so wonderful.

I would make one for a flower journal. I have used that dollar tree wallpaper already and like the geometric design you used. I would use the ship lap looking one and put flowers on it and make areas for pictures.....love it
