- Wang Ming today will take China in a new orthodox direction, he will take the reins from the Chairman and will pull out every trick in the book to ensure China is stable, united and strong under the Red Banner.
The Warlords shall be conquered and integrated, the Nationalists shall be drawn into a temporary alliance, while Japan tries to takedown them both. But together they might just be able hold them back, but there can only be one and eventually these two might be drawn back into civil war.

You can actually get a lot of equipment from Afghanistan throu lend lease since they never go to war and only produce Infantry Equipment
At the stages of the game in this Afghanistan's stockpile would be quite small, only in the later game does it become overwhelmingly big. (Not to mention the lend-lease tension limit of 40% for Afghanistan to help you)
Can they lend lease women since they don't have a use for them?
Imagine your country gets invaded by genocidal hypernationalists and you think that's the perfect time to refuse to work. Also imagine your country has already been invaded by genocidal hypernationalists; your only remaining stronghold is Ethiopia; you also happen to be at war with two global superpowers and your top priority is to protect an irrelevant tiny chinese warlord against yet another major country.

It's frustrating that certain nations do not start with trains... I get that maybe they didn't supply their armies with trains, but it's not like they couldn't figure that out fairly quickly.
In the beginning of No Step Back I played China and got horribly stuck. After watching this video I went back to it, relearned supply and succeeded! Also managed to take on Japan and am going after the Soviets next. Good video! I like seeing the 'alternative' paths.

Nah it was banned because it showed Tibet and Xinjiang as independent nations and, the most ridiculous thing: Taiwan as part of Japan, even if historically did own it at that specific time 💀
This video won the poll with 37% of the vote, playing Communist China is always pretty fun and it was great to revisit them. I should play Asian countries alot more, I just tend to overlook them.
Maybe I should play Zhang Lan and complete the all the paths they have, that's for another time I feel.
Also this can function as a remake of the Made in China and The People Have Stood Up guide, while it isn't a 1:1 crossover I'm sure you can use this a good basis for those achievements.

i actually think Wang Ming path for ccp is thr best one, because you get rid of your debuffs faster. It's probably my favourite for the ccp
China's "Four Big Families" (the Chiangs, the Soongs, the Kungs and the Ch'ens) would have been overthrown and executed under Wang Ming.

That's exactly what I did in my practice runs.
It wasn't the smarter idea, in two different runs.
Chiang got guaranteed by the Allies.
Guangxi and Yunnan's troops were enough to plug the gaps in the line, leading to a boring stalemate.

China would have been a federal state in the mould of the USSR under Wang Ming, with autonomous republics instead of regions for Tibet, East Turkestan, Yünnan, Ningsia, Kwangsi and Inner Mongolia (or it would have been allowed to rejoin Outer Mongolia under the People's Republic of Mongolia then led by Marshal Khorloogin Choibalsan). And Wang Ming would have been a Chinese version of Ember Hoxha.
Wang Ming was a comprador who blindly followed commands from Moscow. China would have been a puppet state under him.
Hoxha was a nationalist opportunist who spent 1940 in fascist Italy, and was put in power by the Yugoslavs. Then he played off USSR and China while building his own national cult, similar to Kim Il-Sung.
