In the latest adventure in the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, teenager Miles Morales is adjusting to his new home while following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker, as a new Spider-Man. But when a fierce power struggle threatens to destroy his new home, the aspiring hero realizes that with great power, there must also come great responsibility. I actually really like that message at the end of the "Friendly Neighborhood" section. Feeling like Spider-Man means nothing, every Spider-Man is different, being Spider-Man means being you. THat's really what this game is about, Miles isn't Peter, he's Miles Morales, he's his own Spider-Man like how we be our own Spider-Man.
He's an alternate incarnation of the the spider man(peter)

I love Miles. He's representation done right. Story/character/good writing first.
Initially he wasn’t. I own the whole original miles morales ultimate spider man run before all that confusing multiverse secret wars or whatever happened, and while he is the only comic book series I own in full, he didn’t differentiate from Parker enough aside from his skin color and conflict with his uncle (that was done well I thought). Spiderverse and this game really started to make miles a more unique character.
Ah, I see. Im not a comic buff, my first experience with him was indeed the movie a couple years back.
@@lens_hunter Read Miles Morales: Spider-Man, it's the 4th/current run & Miles is finally being written by someone else. The criticisms Miles received was due to how his creator, Brian Michael Bendis was writing the character for the previous 3 runs.
@@BayAreaRushHour I thought the conflict with prowler was awful in his original run tbh. He was the most one dimensional bland villain who’s just an asshole with no redeemable qualities. Spiderverse, this game, and miles current comic run all made him prowler a much better character

If not for the fact I love this game, I wound never touch anything with the word spider in it.
When Noir Jirard appeared, it reminded me of the game Spider Man: Shattered Dimensions. Because in that game, you get to play as regular, Ultimate, Noir and 2099 Spider Man. Not sure if Jirard will ever complete that one, but here's hoping one day he will.

Mile's story was short, but it makes sense. He doesn't have a long drawn out trilogy with the sinister six that Peter had to deal with.
You should play a game called "The Last Story." It's on the Wii. You don't have to make a video about it, I just want you to experience it.

But yea, both it and Pandora's Tower are geat and underrated, I'd say. All 3 of those Operation Rainfall games are great, shame Xenoblades the only one so far that got any real attention, though.

Lol I actually did a speedrunning 100% run of this game and it took about 6 hours and 40 something minutes…that was such a blast but a lot of cut scenes aren’t skippable
