Dear @TravisToh , can I check with you for Singles with foreign spouse scheme , HDB will only consider the income of the singaporean/ PR for loan and housing grants right ?
Hey bro, regarding about the OTP there are two part right? First is the 1k then next is deposit up to 5k (including the OTP fee of 1k)? Will this be counted as downpaymenr for the house?
Apart from this, may I know more about the COV? Like did you incur any? Or did you manage to negotiate with the seller agent that don’t put the selling price too high?
Maybe can go through roughly how we couples can know whether we can afford a bto/resale? (In depth) like what's a good gauge to look at
Or maybe compare sg different towns and their housing prices? Or tips on choosing a flat, or like if condo/landed are worth a thought

Hi travis just wanted to ask u 1) will it be reflected on your HLE on the amount of subsidies u getting like PHG or EHG etc... moreover...2) isit the amount u see is property guru the final amount u are paying... 3) do u need to pay bsd for first time owner...4) is the hdb budget calculator accurate in the amount they will lend you ?

Hi there, it's been some time but to the best of my recollection:
- grants eligible is not reflected on HLE. But can easily find this info on HDB website. For my scheme NCSS - I was eligible for EHG, FG, and PG. But I didnt get PG (not within 4km of parents)
- No, the property guru is just a listed price. You can negotiate.
- 0% BSD for first time Singaporean nucleus (yes you are) - so no need pay
- calculator is just an estimate. HLE is the most accrate amount you will be loaned.

Congrats. How long is the process in total after exercising option?
It took about 8 weeks for my case to complete. But the previous owner requested 3 months extension of stay so I only moved in afterwards
