I love imagining a guy in a security guard suit spinning around frantically in his chair muttering and yelling to himself and occasionally booping the bobbleheads on his desk.
Question is how far in the week before the energy drinks get replaced with adderall
Man that security guard got eyes in his neck.
You have put that lovely image in my head. Thank you for blessing me with it.

PLEASE THE IMAGINE I MAD IN MY HEAD CAUSED ME TO LAUGH OUT LOUD
Every time mark looks behind him to check the prize counter I think he’s checking in a pocket dimension between his legs and he’s looking straight down
Nah his massive balls he must have to play this would block all vision
THAT'S BEHIND HIM!? Definitely looks underneath
I thought the same until I read this

William begins to sound more aggresive in his calls as the nights go by. Maybe hes just tired of henry constantly lecturing him about safety lol
I mean, I would've sound more mad if someone kept calling me everyday
Friend or not, gimme some time
Imagine if that was actually the reason why!
If I got constantly called by my friend nagging about safety and reminding me of my family drama which I can only escape and keep my mind off of through work, I'd be annoyed too.
Honestly by like the third night Henry's constant *Hey William how are you* right into *BY THE WAY HAVE YOU DONE THE S A F E T Y* got real old.
Henry comes across as a massive dick in this.
My favorite thing about that is I feel like we're witnessing William's slow descent into the insanity which leads him to start killing kids.
Sometimes I forget that FNaF related stuff is so scary to Mark because it's his fear of mannequins and animatronics. Yet, the franchise is one of the reasons why he's so well known. It's basically a curse to continue for him lol
i have automatonophobia as well, but watching him helps me watch Fnaf if that makes any sense. It’s easier watching someone else play then me play by myself, and Mark comforts me
@@sarahmathews9830 that does make sense, that little bit of discomfort lifted by someone else can feel so much better than doing it yourself.
Sounds like a "Would you press the button?" question.
*You become rich and famous, but by doing something you fear most*

hm. IIRC, he was on the news because of his slenderman videos, shortly before fnaf released? i uh... i might have Dissociative amnesia from those years. not quite sure, haven't seen anyone about it.
It's nice seeing Mark being actually scared by FNaF again. Even if it's not an official game, it's still really nice to see.
It is nice to see.
Yeah, most fangames aren't that scary anymore. (not saying they're not. Just saying they're that scary) This one goes back to the roots of 2014-2015 FNAF of being trapped in a small and cramped room with limited power and cameras being your only defense.
;)
This fan game deserves it’s recognition for sure, this is genuinely horrifying, and the quality is incredible.
@@jendouglas9781 The thing I find so fantastic about this game is the ambience, the sudden sounds along with the up rise and sudden tension of sounds and instruments keeps the player terrified
I’ve been desensitized by FNAF scares, but this one actually made me jump. It feels exactly like fnaf 1, which I think is arguably one of the scarier ones. Feels better being scared with Mark rather than alone

I've not been caught by a jumpscare in 4 years.
I fucking jumped when he shone the flashlight at Fredbear.
This aside, the game is actually genuinely creepy because the characters move and feel like they really do have an intent instead of being 2D pngs.
I really love this sort of limited animation that the creators used in this, it makes everything really snappy and genuinely makes it more freaky with the scares.
Yeah it gives a more “haunted” feel! I love it so much!
You know, it's kinda funny seeing Mark be annoyed by the constant mentions of safety in the phone calls, but from what I understand watching the lore videos on CZcams, Henry was *absolutely* barking up the right tree there.
Okay, the “Peekaboo!” heads of Fred and Bonnie in the doorways near perfectly lining up with their art on their closed door is a beautiful and just fantastic touch. It adds eeriness, a sense of them still watching you. Like there’s something _so good_ about it design wise. Hats off to you, dev(s). Clearly there’s a lot of good things to say about this game, but I wanted to point that one out.

i agree, i wished they put more effort into the official FNaF jumpscares
The fact that there is so many scary animations before the jumpscare, some without even a warning of what you will see, it creates a really terrifying atmosphere, and I'm here for it, really show the difference between doing a game for the money and doing it for love, props to the devs ✨️💪
The art of the monster just outright fucking with you really is a lost one. Little details like something consistently moving around in the game space for example can do a lot for atmosphere and to unsettle, while the impression that the monster is playing with you, or that it knows where you are even when it can't get at you and shouldn't be able to know, do a lot for creating genuine fear rather than shock, though this entry does still rely heavily on stress and shock rather than proper horror and tension but that's kind of just a symptom of being a game made in the FNAF 2 mold more than anything. Aesthetically it resembles FNAF1, but the constant presence of stressors to induce panic and lend the jumpscares impact, and the need to abandon vigilance for a timewasting minigame [with the puppet again, natch] was really central to the FNAF2 formula, as well as FNAF 4, compared to the more languid, tense experience of non-4/20 FNAF 1 or the relatively easy ride of FNAF3.
i like that william in the picture will occasionally have the iconic purple guy face then switch back when youre not looking and whether it was lixians editing or the actual game it was still cool

I noted that as well, literally feels like the door is part of the jumpscare, especially the little, "Hi There!" Feels like Freddy is saying it when he jumps in.
Lol
Yeah, it's great design too! They create comedy just so you feel like you are being played on, they create contrast between hoy they normally look and how terrifing they look lurking in the dark trying to kill you and it keeps you thinking about the animatronic that is still on the other side of the door.
This fangame uses humor to somehow make the experience much more terryfing beyond just the uncanny valley.
@@ElChirpo Yeah exactly, kinda like how using a little salt can paradoxically make the sweetness in a food stand out more by contrast, I feel like the visual comedy serves as excellent seasoning that not only makes you laugh but also ensures that you don't get too jaded by the horror aspect

Okay, 16:19 got me! It's been a while since I got jumpscared by FNAF, and that was awesome!
This is the first fnaf fangame I’ve seen that managed to capture the atmosphere and “feeling” of the first games. It’s a refreshing experience. It’s honestly better at capturing the “fnaf feeling” than Steel Wool, imo.
That's not exactly a high bar, since the only game that Steel Wool has done in the series without Scott was literally the on NOT designed to get the atmosphere or feeling of the first games. So Steel Wool clearly did something right.
@@deadersurvival4716 ehhhh… i struggle to call security breach as “something right”
@@deadersurvival4716 I dont know I think they bit off way too much. Fnaf had one room. Security breach was 20 times bigger than it needed to be with 1000s of bugs. They should of focused on a good game with more elements in smaller areas, instead of a huge map with no scare and endless wandering.
The small details really elevate this game. Even just the transition effect from moving camera-to-camera gives such a polished and "official FNAF" feel to the game.
@@fwheels7776 Listen. I'm not going to defend the game. There's not much redeemable about it, but there is one thing I will give it credit for.
People hear "FNAF" and think horror, but let's be honest with ourselves, how much of the last few games have been actual horror and how many have been both players and theorists beating their heads against every wall that they can find... Basically everything after 4 (though, to be completely upfront, I'm working off of community words and actions moreso than my own experience, since NONE of the games have been scary to me) has been scarier to the theorists to anyone that knows the basics of storytelling than the actual players of the game.
I'm going to take a wild guess (based on basic logic and human psychology) and say that Help Wanted was never MEANT to be scary, and the fact that (amongst all the failures and bugs) Steel Wool did one thing right. Made a game that was never supposed to be like it's predecessors entirely unlike it's predecessors.
You know this game is amazing when Mark is genuinely scared of the jumpscares and is panicing like when he first played FNAF 1.

12:09 that timing with the dialoque is comedy gold
What I find so scary about this game in particular is the sound design. Like sometimes when markiplier closes the office security door you can hear the animatronic scraping against the door
FNAF 1 Foxy left the chat
And the fact that the eyeless Fredbear makes creepy noises all the time, making even someone who just watches the game yell at mark:"shut the goddamn door" even though it's not a thread yet, is just really well made. It never stops and always reminds you that you're not safe and exposed to them while the door isn't closed.
Yes! The sound design is amazing! I was on the edge of my seat for once and usually I don't get scared because of the disconnection of watching someone else play but all the noises and slow build ups really spooked me when the jumpscares did come! Like I jumped every time he flashed the animatronics when they were right in front of the door.
Probably because it's almost entirely Source engine noises. From the Left 4 Dead door and flashlight sounds, to the Half Life 2 physics noises, and even right down to founder and CEO of -Aperture Science- Fazbear Entertainment being nothing but Portal 2 references. Not to mention the quiet animatronic noises being Human Grunt voice lines.
@@brian93724 Foxy runs at the door and knock at it. Here it's more specific, you can hear the fingers scraping against the door and it adds something. A sensation of fear. You can imagine the animatronic trying to open the door or just scraping against it because the door just shut in front of it

love this games subtle details like the "time travelling ball pit" and the "legs made of metal" as references to the books 🙏
One of the things that I genuinely admire the most about this game is the sudden peek into the door from the animatronics. It makes me jump every time! The whole game itself looks and is created amazingly!!
So many fan games don’t utilize what is such a great feature. When the animatronic arrives at the door, they arrive at the door even when you’re looking at it!
Jumpscares:

12:16(bonnie in hallway)

thank you !!
Here, you’ve dropped this 👑
Thank you

Thank you so much!
it truly is incredible how much a fan game explains SO MUCH LORE in a way that makes sense and is so digestible.

"especially that new bunny one"
mark : looks in right door
bonnie : hello i would like to introduce myself
Imagine how different things would've been if Henry had nagged less and just offered to buy the man a beer like a real friend.
tbh william would probably just decline and say that he has too much work to do, along with him being a psychopathic murderer already, there’s not much that anybody could do for his situation
Not really, dude was still descending into madness, I mean, Henry's nagging was probably what made him snap, but he was still f*cked up in the head. Especially if he had already created that puppet. Also the creepy animatronics.
ok
This was actually a great fnaf game. The sound design was great and the mechanics were interesting as well. More more!!
do you know the background song at 21:39?
Edit: nvm I finally found it after years😭😭😭😭😭😭
Something about the way they do the scares in this game actually gives me this weird sinking feeling. It's not like the other games where they just pop up from the bottom of your screen and then scream at you, it actually turns your camera and you feel this doom as you hear them running up to the door. I also love that they give you nice short jumpscares before the real scares. Like when they play peekaboo at the doors, or the suddenness of the puppet disappearing in the back. All the other games, for me at least, were really easy to not be scared by. 4 was probably the only one that was kinda scary, because you had to rely solely on sound queues and if you missed one, that jumpscare would be loud and unexpected as shit, but this game does it really well.
Also, hearing the Ooga booga randomly from freddy, who was just creepy up until that point was hilarious. I heard it twice in this video, he just goes "ooga booga" or maybe I'm just hard of hearing.
How is Mark even managing to survive from animatronics coming from LITERALLY all angles?! Swear to god, bro’s playing like a GOD!
He makes it look so easy. I don't hear half of the things he's noticing. The part where he's like I don't know which side the foot steps are coming from...
He ain’t called the King of five nights at Freddy’s for nothing.
DU DU DU DUUDESS A BEASSTT
@@BBitIT dude I could hear everything and ITS SO UNNERVING
@@nicholasaugello2534 that would be super creepy 😖
I appreciate the fact that Mark, for years, has played these incredibly spooky games with HEADPHONES on. I know it's a necessity for recording, but still, he's a braver man than I 😅
Most fnaf games and fangames needs to be played with headphones because most of then use directional audio to tell an animatronic's location
@@MrcreeperDXD777 which sucks for me as Deaf person. i wanted to play and beat these fan games but can't because of that.
@@blueskythefox1594 aw that's sad... i'm sure you're more knowledged about this than i am, but i've seen "headset that turns audio to vibrations" made for deaf people. do you think they work with games? or is it mainly music? cus perhaps that could be something otherwise
@@demonickitten I think that there are bone conduction headphones that are made for deaf people, and they, well, conduct the sound through the bones. I think that they are pretty affordable too, but I have never seen a pair so I can't tell you for sure
idk why ppl don't realize that the reason most youtubers (and gamers in general) wear headphones is bc of the directional sounds, like hearing footsteps behind walls etc and the direction of gunshots. it gives a real advantage

Mark: Don't call me a Whor3.
You know it's done well when even them appearing at the door gives you a jump.
At this point Markiplier owns the franchise
Yuh.
Fr you can't deny
He is william afton himself. Bro humbles all animatronjcs
He's played a key role in its history, that's for sure.
Totally
I feel like it's 2014 all over again with this one, great vibes
Just made me realize its almost been 10 years.....oh my God I feel old
Bro there are kids that will be starting to watch Markiplier that wouldn't have even been alive when he first did Fnaf 1
Yeah the game feels very 2014 aswell.
This game to me feels like what FNAF 3 should’ve been
loooveee the mini jumpscares of the regular two popping in at the door. makes me jolt so hard when not expecting it despite not being super loud or anything. its really nice
Mark is so lucky he figured out how things work so quickly, other wise he probably would of broken down like Ryan from the pure paranoia of not knowing what to do.
Return to bloody nights really captures the horror that fnaf 1 tapped into, the distracting audio that overlaps any important audio cues that stresses you out because youve now got to double check that the sound you heard meant something, the rare scenes and extra mini games you can find by chance/luck, really makes a great ambient jumpscare survival horror
"The old instincts are coming back" put the biggest smile on my face. Glad the king of FNAF is playing more fan games! ❤
Where he said that?

The flashlight jumpscares single handedly make this game EVEN scarier

This fnaf fan game is truly one of the scariest out there. Such a masterpiece.
Thank you!
@@TheMadManStudiosOfficialyour game is a MASTERPIECE. The jumpscares of them being at the door is traumatizing, and the art and atmosphere are really creative. My favorite mechanic is the generator heat instead of limited power. It adds a different type of challenge from what I can tell. Not that I’m brave enough to play it 😂
