The fact that the animatronics look almost like they’re built out of flesh make them so much more terrifying in this game.
I think this game is like the least scary fnaf type game there is. They look creepy up close, but they are mostly on camera, and can barely see them. Also, the ghost going around to diff ones makes it much less scary. When they all have the ability at all times to attack you is much scarier. This is just my opinions of course. The gameplay aspect by itself is decent. Mark seems to be having fun 😊😊

I noticed there's actually a strategy with not immediately outing the ghost.
If you narrowed it down to a particular animatronic, you can repair the rest of them before expelling the ghost. Then right as soon as you do so, call the previously possessed animatronic in for repairs; it prevents them from being possessed twice in a row and keeps stability up for everyone.
That's why BB's gimmick is the way it is. It makes it extremely obvious that hey, yeah, BB's possessed, but you can't read BB's condition, so you can't employ this strategy while BB is possessed, or risk failure.

usually the best thing to do is just to put marionette in the repair bay right at the beginning before anyone gets haunted and just keep her there for the rest of the game because she's annoying

Its quite interesting how they turned a relatively secondary character like mangle into a main monster. It does a really good job shining the spotlight on her and portraying mangle as a far bigger threat to the main character than in FNAF 2.
That's cause in FNaF2, The Mangle was just a Toy Foxy who was around kids too often. It wasn't any more a threat than Toy Freddy, Chica or Bonnie. Here, The Mangle is a main monster where every animatronic is forced to become a freak of supernatural.
That and the introduction they made for her helps crank up the tension. You know you're going up against something worse when it takes the entire cast to make it
The Mangle always felt a bit wasted in the main series, tbh. It's definitely the coolest animatronic from a design perspective and an ungodly amalgamation of animatronics is a really cool idea the series never really capitalized on (they kinda did it with Ennard, but its design isn't nearly as cool as Mangle's, tbh)
Glad that the devs themselves made Mangle a bigger role in the game itself.

Really REALLY delayed, but I love how the music gradually changes into Mangle's sounds. The transition is as smooth as butter. It's absolutely uncanny and the first time I watched it, I had to replay it again just to confirm that I'd heard it.

When you guess wrong, you speed up how quickly that animatronic deteriorates by an ungodly amount. However, if you’re fast enough, you can fix the problem before it kills you.
The fact that Mark finished the entire game without realizing such a vital mechanic both astounds me and at the same time makes perfect sense.

For anyone who doesn't know, JR's is an actual restaurant that appears in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. The only way to find it is to find a secret route in the Midnight Motorist minigame, in which we learn that the main character of Midnight Motorist, presumably William Afton is banned from the establishment. The pixel art restaurant you see at the end of the credits is JR's as it appears in FFPS

47:08 He missed the one thing alot of us wanted him to see, the Mangle appearing in the hallway when the lights are flashed. For anyone wondering or if Mark ever reads this, if he DIDN'T lower his mask at that moment, him lighting up the hall infront of him would've revealed the Mangle ahead roaring back at him (thus that loud noise that followed), the animation for that scene is GORGEOUS and an amazing means of intimidation display, sadly-- he never got to see it as he lowered the mask at that exact time.

Its even more disappointing looking at security breach after this fan game. JRs is miles ahead of security breach. Steel wool should be even more embarrassed at what they made when a fan made something 1000× better. The fans are more committed to the horror aspect than a main entry to the series

SB is overhated, the bugs were horrible at launch but past that it's a fun generic survival horror with some fnaf mechanics thrown in. It definitely has the best gameplay in the series considering every other fnaf game besides sister location was just repeating the same pattern for the entire game. It wasn't that scary but it wasn't really trying to be, ever since sister location fnaf has been comedy horror which is fine.

I can't help but absolutely admire the sheer dedication of some of these Fnaf fan game creators, this is so well done
This game has so much going on, mark was saying “foxy or bonnie” and not only did he forget that it was foxy and not freddy, but he also forgot that bonnie was being repaired after the spirit entered an animatronic, so the only choice was foxy. Honestly this game is really good and does what a good horror game should do; scary graphics and good gameplay with jumpscares that catch you off-guard. This is the first game in a while where you can’t anticipate a jumpscare. Sure it’s got it’s flaws, but it’s a good breath of fresh air.

Mortuary assistant is scarier to me but it does get repetitive and the variety of the demons aren't so vast for u to get scared of new things. Games like this are scary because there's like 6 different types of animatronics and all with their own unique stuff but to me mortuary assistant is scarier
I think you can anticipate the jumpsacers, because apparently they happen only uf you mess up, like if you chose the wrong one, so you know immediatly when you fucked up, except when you call the wrong one for repair or when the stability drops, but if you check stability often and rise your guard when you call someone in, its hard to get you with your pants down

Agreed, I seriously can’t get over how much I love the art style and the design of the animatronics. I can’t stop gushing over it, so so well done. I compared it to photos of Chuck E Cheese animatronics and they were able to so perfectly capture the off putting vibes of a fabric crafted animatronic. But worse.

I was a freshman in high school when mark first played fnaf. Now I've graduated college and am still watching this lovable man. What a nostalgia trip this video had.
