Epic Dirt Road Journey: The Rimrocker (4WD Utah to Colorado)

Looking for an epic adventure that will take you from Utah to Western Colorado on the dirt? That's exactly what brought us to the Western trailhead of the The Rimrocker Trail.
The Next Venture team and friends spent Independence Day weekend traversing the 160 mile route from Moab Utah to Montrose Colorado. This isn't an extremely technical route when the conditions are right, but the trek from Red Rocks of Moab to the timber of the Colorado plateau makes this a bucket list camping trip.

I'm going to be in Colorado in the San Juans in a few weeks doing some BOH trails in the Silverton area.. Also planning this same Rimrocker trip for next summer & I just cannot wait!!!!

How long did it take to do the trail?

We took our sweet time; and camped 1 night. If you wanted to make it into 2 nights, or do the whole thing in most of 1 day I think either would be possible if the conditions allowed.
