Really good and honest review, I don't really listen to this album that much either because as I tell a lot of people at least for me, you have to be in the mood for that loud club music vibe where all the songs kind of blend into each other and you kind of start to tune them out. I think it's just too much production although I do think there are some really good lyrics in here like you said. I'm big on uniqueness in the music, which is why rebel heart was so exciting when I heard that one the first time. Great review!
I started loving her with this album, yeah. It was because I was 13 lol. I also felt like I was the shit listening to I Don’t Give A 🎸😎 and Some Girls too 😂 I liked this album so much because it was so EDM, bubblegum pop, generic house and at that time that what my friends liked and what the radio was playing. To me the best part of this era were the Girl Gone Wild music video and the Give Me All Your Luvin’ superbowl performance. This album has a place in my heart because I became a fan with it.
I agree it's not one of her best albums, but I do like a lot of songs, specially Gang Bang, Masterpiece and Falling Free. What made it worth for me is the Tour, by far my favorite from her.
The album felt unfinished and rushed, but it does contain some good songs. My least favorite tracks were Gang Bang, Some Girls, and The Birthday Song, but among my favorites are Masterpiece, Girl Gone Wild, Give Me All Your Lovin', Turn Up the Radio, Love Spent, to name a few.
I like the album, especially driving in a car. Highlights: Gang Bang, I’m addicted, Love spent, Masterpiece, Fallen free, Beautiful killer, Best friend. Skip: Superstar (although i like the fact Lourdes is singing backings). Rest of the songs are great, nice or okay.
I’m Addicted is by FAR the best track on the album. It’s my favourite album track of hers and is an absolute banger and should have been the lead single. Disappointed you barely mention it and don’t seem to like it ☹️
I used to really passionately love MDNA. I still love it now, but I see its flaws more clearly. I find the anger and aggressive emotions are quite out of character for Madonna on this album, and I see that as an asset to the album. I think that she was probably really struggling with the divorce during this time and the album really encapsulates her anger and disappointment, while still trying to make it fun and empowering. I think this is a side of her we haven't really experienced before and after this. That said, it doesn't make all the songs good or even passable (i.e. Superstar). My personal faves are: Gang Bang, Some Girls, I Don't Give A, Masterpiece, and Falling Free.
People always talk shit about MDNA but I liked it! Yes it’s not her best album but it’s enjoyable!

I started loving her from this album too, I'm 17 and for me MDNA,Rebel Heart and Madame ❌ are her best albums
I came her after she posted this on her page. It's cool that you got to see her at her height.

This was the last album of hers that I bought. Could not stand it and give it away. Haven't bought any of her following albums.
