  • This video shows how to modify the LinQ Rack to accept the Can-Am 1up Driver Backrest. Just requires a few extra parts and some glue. This video was very much a trial and error approach. If you want to keep your backrest and use the LinQ rack this is the only way I can see you doing it. Was a fun little project ant the only time consuming part was waiting for glue to dry. Hope you find it useful if ya do let me know.

Thanks buddy. I hope you found it useful. I don’t know how many would find this useful but if there is one it’s worth it.

Nice. Does your mod mount get in the way when trying to use linq bags or linq fuel cans?

To be honest I haven’t tested it yet . This mod was mainly if I wanted to keep the plate installed and occasionally use the backrest. I’ll try it tomorrow and let you know how it goes .

Ok checked it out and yes it does interfere. But as I said in the video it’s meant for use of the backrest without the factory bags. Like if you lashed a backpack to it . If you use there LINQ bags they do become the backrest. Don’t have the gas tank so I couldn’t tell you if that would fit with the backrest In place.
