Don’t let this distract you from the fact that in canon Yamcha remains the only mortal to strike Beerus without even a threat of retaliation afterwards.

Beerus was so terrified by his power, he was paralyzed for a short moment before getting shaken out of it.
The one where the universe got Yamcha’d, except not really. But the moral of the story is that the universe _can_ be Yamcha’d, and by none other than Yamcha himself.

The whole thing was wild entertainment for sure but the ending really brought it all together

I like how this is inspired by the Deadpool story. It honestly really fits Yamcha. I also like how he breaks the fourth wall aswell.

I was just about to say that finding out that you're fictional and nothing that you do has any meaning can drive anyone insane. I mean, Deadpool is already insane, but the point stands.

(IRL, I subscribe to Multiverse theory, and by that theory's nature, we are fictional...at least in one universe, just like that hypothetical universe is fictional to ours.)
Honestly, Yamcha's state of mind ought to be considered by his friends. For if they were truly his friends, they would find time to make him happy and let him know that he matters to them as much as anyone else. Because power isn't everything, but what's in one's heart. If Goku was truly the man he's always been, he would consider this and go out of his way to do that for Yamcha; remind him of his worth. Such reminders would go a long way towards keeping Yamcha pure(ish) of heart. Because sadly, even pure hearts can be corrupted if pushed too hard.
Honestly that’s fax
Imagine if Goku Black or some other villian decided to account for every Z Fighter's power levels and was able to systematically beat them one by one and decided Yamcha wasn't worth it.
Yamcha then faces this threat that not even Goku and Vegeta with Super Saiyan Blue or Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego can defeat. And what he lacks in raw power, he makes up for with experience and skill, the villian is a brute who relies on his raw power (like basically every Dragon Ball villian nowadays) but Yamcha decides to stall the villian out until they wear themselves out and makes use of his abilities in far more creative ways.
Such as using a Kamehameha, not as a means to attack but to get out of the way of a dangerous attack and fake them out, and dodging attacks and using afterimages to confuse the antagonist. Before eventually landing a powerful Wolf Fang Fist followed by a Kamehameha to finish the off.
I respectfully disagree on several points. First, Goku does try to appeal to Yamcha at 30:08. Second, this isn't a matter of heart. Yamcha went insane due to finding out that he's meerly a fictional character from a manga. What's more he found out that he's only going to be remembered for dying to a saibamen.
Yamcha's sanity was obliterated; there's no recovering from that

Despite this mini-series of a story being clearly made as a joke, I feel like it teaches us an important lesson; Never let your friends feel left out. Their happiness matters just as much as yours.

What a fantastic story! Yamcha gets to be the main character for once. Good for him. Bad for the universe potentially, but good for him. Also, Puar was so wholesome in this story!

Frieza has learned to detect energy. In DBS Broly he sensed Kikano before he entered the room. Berryblue knew Frieza well and noticing his change in demeanor surmised what it meant.
This video is entertaining and I liked it.
I really like this ending. Yamcha, heck, even the other humans, may be a joke in terms of power when compared to the Saiyans, but they have the one thing the powerhouses don't. A simple, happy life.

Re-listening to this brings up a point that I see others have also mentioned;
If Goku and Vegeta actually cared about their friends, especially in Goku's case as he's supposed to be the "man" of the show, since they won't let anyone else have the job.
You make a very compelling case on the state of Yamaha mental state. And how this could be completely believable. I'm impressed.

Yamcha should've been in the tournament of power. He could be death fodder.
But for real though there should be a what if for the tournament of power with the dream team. And I'm talking the fanbases dream team.
That would actually be a decent strategy they have dragon balls and the ability to lower their guard all he’d have to do is take a hit for someone more powerful and lower his power as low as possible Jiren gets disqualified and there goes quite frankly the only thing standing in the way of almost total domination true there were a couple of other fighters of significance but with the whole team minus one against them they don’t stand a chance
@@triforceofcourage100 extremely good strategy. I would add to have the ability to make his energy really high but have his defenses extremely low(human durability if possible) with the Dragon Balls. That way they can simply send him to someone like Jiren, who would think that Yamcha is pretty strong enough to take a hit and proceed to lose. At that point only Kelfa, GoD Toppo, and that 5 way fusion thing are the only danger and UI Goku can sweep them
@@lightingthief4482 I tend to work smarter not harder. I also would not be stupid enough to fight with honor I’d take every advantage I can get. My strategy for winning the Top. Yardratians and lots of them. With a team of mastered spirit control users there’s literally nothing stopping us from instant transmissioning to every fighter with life force and teleporting them to the stands using swarms of clones and few would be able to do much about it. Maybe the robots and possibly goku and the other yardrattean. However Goku doesn’t have much experience with having that technique used against him. Cheating, no there’s no rules against it. Cheap, absolutely

You guys mentioning Jiren are forgetting that his strategy was to let his teammates fight weaklings while he rested, he only fought when Goku got UI.
Even though I'm late to this, this was an incredible video. Now, to answer the question, I say Yamcha turning into a maniac is possible for this story. Considering that not only was the fourth wall broken for him, now knowing that he and everything that he knows is fake, but to also realize that he would amount to nothing would cause tons of problems for him mentally. Even if this what-if ended on a happy note, I'm pretty sure Yamcha's gonna still be questioning it in his head for a while

I thought the twist was going to be that Yamcha wishes himself to be the strongest in the universe, but in doing so, the wish instead reduced the power level of everyone else in the universe below Yamcha rather than raises his strength. 😝 Then Universe 7 is destroyed by Zeno for its mortal power level dropping so significantly below all the other universes.

Heres a possible what if scenario for you to explore: How the ToP would play out if Goku and Vegeta explained the process of becoming a super saiyan god to Cabba when they first met him.
It certainly seems possible that the universe 6 saiyans would be able to achieve it. Just not much time for it to actually make a massive impact.

I feel like the ending came a bit out of nowhere even if I do like it ending on a happier note and like the idea of Yamcha being relatively content.
