Im just about to buy a MST performance intake to my M2. Just wondering when you said you bend the bracket, ( dont know if im spelling that right?) is it that one hold by the T40 bolt i belive?

Hey man! Awesome build! I've been thinking about getting an MST intake for my M340i, but aren't you worried about filtration problems in the long run? That filter defenitely doesn't filter dust as good as the OEM one and, as far as I've heard, could lead to engine damage in the long run. How many km have you driven with this setup? Could ease up my nerves if you would provide some insight.

Thank you man! I'm not worried at all, no. I have the cleaned the filter once in maybe 9000 km (5500 miles) and it wasn't even dirty whatsoever. That was comforting to see. It's true though that the OEM filter does the best job, but damaging the engine on the long run with a different (quality) cold air intake? I wouldn't believe so (provided that you don't live in the Sahara and clean it often). Hope that helps!
