I don't have 50 pounds but wouldn't it be cool to scale Walter white from Breaking bad since his manipulation tactics are very similar to 42 and even light yagami to an extent.
He was less of a manipulator. More of a strategist. What he said was true and also helped him. He was actively helping his alliance, until inevitably it has to break. 58 was petty imo.
They both go money after though so I don't think 42 is mad at 58 now. 42 had ever right to be mad at him though as 58 gained nothing.
Have a great dya/night!!!
imagine a scenario where 42 predicted that someone will step out as well to stop him from winning (since they hated him for manipulating 43 into eliminating everyone). So he first yelled and declared that he will step out, but then 30 seconds later he'll say to 43 in a normal voice (so as to not get heard by the other team) that he feels like 43 should be the one who steps out and win the money since she's the mvp of group 40 for eliminating everyone. after some words of affirmation, 43 agreed on the offer and steps out. the curtain falls and to the horror of 58, its not 42 that he stopped, but 43. 42 as to not lose the trust of him teammates, feign ignorance, and went on to win the whole game, winning 250k. only then when interviewed he said "its all part of the plan" 💀💀💀💀💀

Dude he got out a 16 year old who had a grandma with cancer, and he was an actual bitch the whole time about it too
He failed to realize the complexity of the situation he had caused. Most of the participants saw him as the bad guy, and someone among them clearly had developed a grudge against him. Someone who also had low odds of winning. (That being 58. Since he wasn't likely to win, why not eliminate the perceived villain as well?) In my opinion, it would have been better if he hadn't announced his intention to step out, given these circumstances.
Yup.
If he wanted to win it would have been better to call it. But he didn't care about winning, he wanted to get 42's hopes up, then shatter them. Revenge is sweet.
If he didnt announce he was leaving their would be others who would think they have the chance to leave. If anything him building himself as a villain made a presence that made people know he was telling the truth. The people that were their all knew he was going even 58. Hell 58 smiled when he realized 42 went out. 58 is basically a crash out who cared more about fun then the money.

he was smart and manipulative.....i like it
No one is evil, 42 was playing the game very well, his mistake was making enemies (mostly because of the mocking, he should have just whispered to 43 and maintained a face of this is necessary but sucks, the eliminations were fine and impossible to avoid, so any I’ll will made by them would happen either way). 58 was pissed at 42 because of the way he behaved and probably though that he wouldn’t win anyway after mostly of the friends he managed to make were eliminated, so he decided to blew up the chances of the guy who blew his.
About the argument that 58 was petty and spiteful, I don’t think that’s wrong but sincerely he had full right to judge that 42 didn’t deserve the money or that people that acts like he did shouldn’t be show being rewarded by what he thought were bad or evil actions, as it was in some way part of the game. Besides that , it’s not like he chose between 42 getting the money or no one getting it, he choose for Mr. Beast to keep it, and I at least think that Jimmy can use the money to make a lot of good, so yeah, I don’t thinking side is evil, they only have their own motivations and reasons to do what they did, 42 spoke about his side (I think in his Tik Tok, but you can find part of it in CZcams as well) but I also would like to know what was in 58 mind at the moment and what was his true motives
trust me everyone is evil
True 47 unintentionally played the game best and she won lol
I think 58 was there just to annoy him 😂
@@m-7749not everyone is evil, it’s just that human nature is built off survival of the fittest.
DUDE SHUT UP HE IS DEVIL INCARNATION
42 isn't a villain cause he was manipulating 43. He was a villain because he kept on dropping all these main villain quotes like he's Madara Uchiha🙃🙃🙃
People who are saying “58 is the real villain” are fundamentally misunderstanding the situation here. 42 has no claim to this money. He was not offered the money by Mr. Beast, rather he was entitled enough to believe that he deserved it most simply because he was the first to speak up. Other people also expressed interest but because he was so loud, they decided not to step out. 42 did not have the money “stolen” by 58. He made a risky move and it backfired on him. Whether his previous actions were villainous aren’t hugely relevant here, but he and 58 took the exact same risk and both failed, so it’s not really fair to say that either one is above the other based on their reasoning.
My personal take is that 42 made a good choice to announce his stepping out, to try to ensure he could help to support his kids.
58's decision to also step out was made after 42's announcement. It was directly intended to hurt 42. But the principals behind it are good. "This man caused a lot of people to lose out on money. I don't want him getting a big prize."
They're both either antiheroes, or antivillains.
Finally someone that gets it. It is crazy how many people say that 58 ROB 42 of the money. 42 played good strategy and lost, there was no reason to cry about how much he deserved the money.
It's a competition, saying someone had no claim to the money is just wrong, they all had a claim to it, it was litterally just a contest to the laudest, 42 took a risk, 58 decided to throw away his chances to make a point and act petty while seriously harming someone else without even getting any personal gain from it
Also sick of people saying he did it because he was petty. Like sure, but the actual reason I can speculate why 58 did it, was because if he didn't step out 42 (the villain to everyone but himself) would've gotten the money. And for people to call 58 the villain for not allowing him to get away with it, is straight up wrong.
One more thing, 58 was vengeful not petty, because 42 eliminated over half of his team.
For those who just finished watching this video, Mr Beast created a short with both 42 and 58 and each of them have to play the prisoners dilemma. 42 chose to split whilst 58 chose to steal and once the final results are out, 58 decides to split the money with 42 with people in the comments saying that 58 gave 42 a redemption.
This short not only shows that nothing is black and white but there are multiple greys in between.
i just wanted to add something more
most people didn't think too much about this subject and just straight up called 58 the hero and blah blah blah. in my opinion, him sacrificing himself was the only actual evil action performed in the video. just think about it, why did 58 step out of his cube if he knew he wouldn't get any money? pettiness and selfishness. and also a bit of stupidity.
whether he walked out or not, 42 was already eliminated. he would no longer participate in the game. 58 held a grudge against 42 and it led him to make an irrational decision.
answering the question, 42 is objectively not evil. keep in mind that this doesn't make him good, though. as 42 himself stated, that game is a war: 100 people battling over 250k dollars. all he did (eliminating people) was just natural. if someone still says he's evil, they need to consider jimmy as evil as well, since he eliminated 25 people for no reason. but obviously that's not gonna happen.
however, we can say 58's actions were evil. he ruined 42's chance of winning 250k, even though he knew he wouldn't get anything from it. at that point, they weren't battling over anything. there were two options:
a) 42 wins 250k dollars and leaves the game
b) 42 and 58 leave the game with nothing
58 chose option b, purely with the intention of crushing 42's plan
imagine a football player scores a goal and eliminates the opposing team from the world cup final. he wanted to score the goal, knowing that would crush the dreams of all the other team's players. does that make him evil? no!
now, when this player is going home, he gets attacked by supporters of the other team and gets seriously injured. does this make the supporters evil? yes!
i know this is too extreme, but it's exactly like what happened in the video.
42 outgrew his usefulness, now his schemes can serve to enrich the remaining contestants. 58 made sure of that.
Then again maybe it wasn’t a act of pettiness but more of a strategy incase 42 was bluffing him leaving the room. If 42 was bluffing then 58 would had won the money. Winning the 250k and taking out 42 was most likely a win win scenario for him rather than an act out of straight pettiness
@@Gray_mk42 literally announced at the start that he was going to step out. Anybody that would step out after hearing that would be dumb to do so, because they're literally ruining their chances of getting any money. It was actually smart of 42 to step out given he previously conditioned everybody else to not step out by announcing that he would be stepping out at the start while ensuring nobody else stepped out. Also it's a competition, he's not a bad person for wanting to eliminate people in a competition and win 250k that everybody wants to win.
@itsukijane I 100% agreed with you on this. 58 was just a waste of space

What has this man's channel turned to what happened
I don’t think 42 won the war because his end goal was to win the money, he would have had to betray his own eventually and there didn’t seem to be an agreement that the 40s would split the money. 42 played the game well but ultimately let the mask slip in showing his emotions and how much he didn’t care for others creating room for spite and resentment so when the opportunity to eliminate him arose someone was bound to take it regardless of cost. Maybe it was just me but I didn’t believe for one second that 42 was gonna walk away with the 250k after the way he handled the previous challenge, it could have been any other member of the 40s I would still find it difficult to believe that someone wouldn’t have eliminated them
Exactly, you are right but nowadays people think bullying and trolling others is cool 🤡
Finally someone gets it. There is a difference in playing smart and being ruthless.

@Lsjdjie it's always been like that
I agree with what you said. Although 42 was smart he slipped up and eventually didn't reach his end goal on the other hand 58 had an entirely different goal and he reached it so who really won?
@@Lsjdjie If we actually look at thair actions 42 was at least loyal to his teammates (unlike 30), 58 was just petty beyond belief and took away 250k from someone that probably really needed it without even getting anything from it. It's like deciding to litterally stab someone in the back in front of the police because they did their best and defeated complete strangers in a fair game, sure 42 acted a bit mean about it but his actions had reason behind them, 58's didn't.

Well, you see no one is actually. And before you defend 42 saying
"He was just playing with a strategy while 58 did it out of hate" Yes, you are right but it's not like 42 was super nice or smth. He mocked an old woman when she left saying "I'll miss your snoring" blah blah so it was just the same thing. But I agree, 58's actions were a little stupid.
And I forgot to add, 58 played with strategy too. He knew his chances of winning was veryyy low so he did what he could to make the person he disliked to lose. Isn't that what 42 did?
There is no hero/villain is saying in this situation. Both played fairly.
+ If you say :

You are absolutely right,
No.42 is just the guy who wanted to win ,
Same with no.58 but they chose different path
facts
Every contestant has their own story and they all probably needed the money there's no hero or villain in this situation.
well thats where you're wrong, 42's behavior was not the best, lets admit that, but this is not like the other challenges where someone had to be eliminated, this one was purely everyone could win, 42 could win and 58 could continue the challenge, someone is eliminated but that someone walks away happy. do u really think people nornally act shitty? maybe someone like him does it because he desperatly needs it, though he should have acted better. 58 was no superman in this situation he was just bitter. so all in all, f.k 58
@@soba-E1I agree that 58 is no hero, but why would he be bitter about something that does not affect him? Think about it. A trait of a good person is empathy, which he shows by getting bitter for other people. Sure, you could say that 58 played it dumb or disliked 42's attitude, hence why he wanted to get 42 out. But at the end of the day, he left the box knowing he's out of the game. At the end of the day they still got a second chance to split or steal anyways and both got life changing amounts of money.
Considering everyone is there to win and it's not a social gathering I believe that eliminating everyone but the 40s like 42 did is the correct move as it gives you the best chance at winning and calling him a villian for doing that is just dumb, but how he acted throughout and after the competition was wrong as it's fine to eliminate everyone but your team to have better chances but mocking those people who need the money is just wrong. He's only been online since the competition and complained about 58 stepping out as well as if it's 58s fault, first this such a stupid way of coping as 42 knew or at least should've known the risk he was taking when he stepped out and also expected people to question if he was bluffing, I'm actually really surprised more people didn't think he was bluffing.
This is exactly what I think. Neither are villains or hero’s but the people defending 42 like crazy act like he was a saint who was just playing the game and thinks he is “entitled” to the money just because he said it out loud so no one else would step out, he made a lot of enemies and that came back to get him, so that is “part of the game” that so many people use an an excuse to
Honestly, 42 may have been evil but he did try to make a genuinely strong team, and it worked. His team did end up winning.
But I have to give some respect to 58 because that man flexed so hard to wait just at the last TWO SECONDS just to flex his superiority.
42 was a menace but I'd argue there were worse than him
Finally someone who understand's it w analysis love your videos
I’m starting to kind of like how mentally strong #42 is. I wish I could be that strong.
42 wasn’t a villain. He was a reasonable person for looking out for himself. But people like a villain narrative, gives em a reason to come together. In this style of game it’s everybody for themselves unless you give people a reason to come together. I feel like his tactics and selfishness were brilliant, manipulation and all but, he should’ve been more low-key so he wouldn’t have made enemies that were willing to throw it all away just to take him out. Should’ve walked out at 100K ngl.
Bro i watched mr beast this video after your analysis and i would only say thx for your suggestion , It was thrilling , intense from till the end and got a more better perspective to look at .
58+42=100
New lore found??
Man I know that I'm not alone thinking that someone will make this video idea soon, congrats for making it first. 42 knew that he couldn't be the grand prize winner because he knew that last round would be voting match on who should get the money, he knew that because before every round start MrBeast asked everyone on who should deserve the money and all votes must be towards one person. So what he did is to make sure his group last longer but yes you could argue that he should've seen that people will try to get him with that big of attention.
I still think 58 won the war, the final members of the 40s alliance, 47 and 48 were much kinder people who interacted less with 42

@@Idk-ef5nt almost everyone gets manipulated in life. Isn't it?
Manipulating is not cool gang
Nah, I'd manipulate.
You're always the villain in a hero's story
Now there is a short where they appear again, it is called "would you split or steal for $250,000?"
This is so unique i love the idea
42 being the Kira
58 being the L😂
2:43 No, a few percent chance at winning 250k is not a better opportunity than 50k guaranteed. He didn't decline because there would be a better opportunity.
I feel like number 42 is like askeladd because 42 was a good leader same with askeladd however his actions were pretty smart and cruel, so 42 is a good example of askeladd
58 just gave 42 a taste of his own medicine by "not having a heart"
Nah, 42 just played entirely logically that's what he meant with not having a heart. Meanwhile 58 had NOTHING to gain by walking out except take away money from someone else he's the real villain
@@Lockfly Bro his team was wipped out by 42, it was vengeance
@@Skizo1095 so he got petty vengeance in a game while taking away extremely life changing money from someone. 58 is just evil.
@@Lockfly He did not destroy the money or something like that, he just gave it to someone else. If it's in the rules of the game, it's fair-play.
@@Skizo1095He didn't gave it to another person. He only make sure that 42 can't have them. The money isn't guranteed to be given away a second time. Mrbeast could also spent his money for a new car.
42 is the only one who played a game as a game
Ok and?
To be fair 48 also kinda played the game
mrbeast made a short that expands the lore so hard
Ima just say, if people are defending 42 because he acted realistically than guess what? So did 58. Guy lost a lot of people in his group and 42 was taunting them and making enemies. If you're gonna bring stuff like that into this shit you gotta be ready for consequences
number 42 was the real hero
No
@@silentsnake4750yes wdym?

Love your content ❤❤❤
I dont think there is a villain or a hero. 42 was strategic but also arrogant and ruthless. in the long game that would've eventually brought him to being eliminated for the the hatred he brung upon himself. There was no way out of all the people not even 1 that didnt desperately need the money wasnt gonna sacrifice himself to eliminate 42, who was probably the smartest and also, in the other players' perception, the most unlikable and unworthy of the prise. There is also the possibility that 58 thought he was bluffing.
How can anyone criticize someone for doing their upmost to win a game with a large cash prize? The goal of the game is to win, not make friends
And 58 was also trying to win
Well in this case you need to make friends to win. That's how 47 won.
You seem to forget that it was not a group contest. Number 42 lost. And not just because of his strategy, but because he was rude.
FINALLY
Amazing video
I would say that 42s way of thinking was pretty straight forward. having a group that has good bond boosts you and everyone else in the teams chance of success, in the elimination game the number of people eliminated can't change so the best outcome would be to make his group survive. We never saw him try to eliminate people, he just redirected eliminations to people outside his team
42 is like Ryueen. Avent got bored analysing anime characters he decided to Analyse Mr Beast's Contestants 😂 amazing content
42 is one of the only pens who acted like they actually wanted the money, they weren’t mean, they were just competitive
He was mean, he took the chance to get the money away from the eleven-year-old and the guy who needed the money to support his sick grandma without displaying much remorse. I don't blame him for wanting the money though since there was 250k dollars on the line, which is a lot of money.
The character he was playing is mean*(Correction)
@dylan_1313 you realize that's a he right?
Tf was the 11 year old gonna do with the money
@@Nate-ps1nx Honestly u right icl but he didn't even flinch despite seeing a child crying. Plus what about the 14 year old that had a sick grandma? They gave him not a single second of thought.
This is a fucking banger u dont miss
The only thing that makes me hate 58 because of taking the duplicate of 250,000 is that 58 was on the same line as 42, 42 was the team captain and is the reason 58 wasn't eliminated in the second round.
The shocking part is that in a short they played split or steal and 42 votes split and 58 voted steal 😨😨but then 58 was making sure 42 wasn’t gonna try to be a bad guy again and then decided to split with him 😇😇 great ending
Kinda think 42 a bit of a psychopath a tiny bit
technically 58 to , what he did had no gains for him except to make 42 loss out on money.
@@Skyrus646fr. He went like “If I can’t have it, no one will!”.
A short came out where 42 split but 58 stole but then 58 decided to split and that really rubbed me the wrong way because the way he said it made it a “I’m such a good guy” and it felt fake
He probably didn't want to ruin his reputation, but let's be honest, there are plenty of people who gave up their dignity and reputation online for fame, and he gave up 125k dollars, which is a lot of money.
Another thing I noticed that nobody has pointed out is that 58 waited out the timer till the last second despite making up his decision from the start. This ensures that he doesn't clue anyone(#42) that he stepped out by the sound of his footsteps, his breathing, maybe even coughing or sneezing on accident. Though I doubt anyone would hear him stepping out and I don't think they can step back in after they have already left the box.
Numer 42's should voice some villian or hero in the MCU or DC tbh. W voice 💯💯🗣🗣🗣🗣
This upload consistency is crazy
Daily uploads?? Fire vid btw.
I may get clammed, but
HEAR ME OUT
42 forced 43 to not only get rid of a bunch of innocent people who either were entering retirement or needed the money for maybe a medical procedure, school, and ect
I personally think the main reason 43 eliminated all of those people is because if she didn’t, The 40s would be against her and she believed not doing that would end up haunting her later in to the challenge. I personally wanted (from the beginning) 100 to win because of everything that man must of been through to get in to the rare triple digit age.
I met flamed not clammed 😭
I ain’t reading allat
You mean all that?
Nah
"he lost the battle but won the war" this legit sent shivers down my spine, the L vs light references are crazy
Why light yagami vs number 42 isn’t close
58 was definitely a hero willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good and something way more important than winning himself: (securing the future of the world and saw to it that EVIL would NOT prevail or win!) Give this man a medal!!!!! A true underrated hero! 🥇🏅🎖
58 is an evil. He is the only villain because 42 was leaving for money and 58 decides to ruin him. A hero doesn’t take someone’s chance to make money. Instead he did something worse by losing that money.
@@promaster5533 Womp Womp, they all had an equal fair chance. 42 tried to pressure everyone else to not step out, 58 did good.
@@blazeb2150 nah bro stop glazing 58
@@promaster553358 isn’t a hero but he isn’t evil either. He just wanted to give 42 a taste of his jackassery
Do you know the meaning of a hero buddy? 58 sacrifice isn't a hero thing he did that for revenge which I respect but there's a difference with a guy that wants revenge to a hero because a hero will sacrifice for the greater good which 58 didn't do he just have take away the money from 42 which didn't result in any good for the remaining people and a guy that want revenge will sacrifice for revenge you get me?
58 was a villain out of spite and again 58 chose to steal knowing if he chose the same he'd screw him over again for no reason. 58 ONLY agreed to split after he screwed him over again..out of guilt. Wearing a happy face while doing evil ARE the villains. Not 42 ^
What amount of guilt would make someone let go of 125000 dollars?
@@Idk-ef5nt 58, in another video he chose steal 250k rather than split it because 42 didnt chose to steal the money he picked to split it
42 was playing smart,I think the main reason as to why ppl call him the villain is bc of the things he said like "I am gonna miss your snoring" or... "now's not the time to develop a heart" etc
48 was the sidekick
48 was the simpest
Calling 42 a villain for actually tryna win??
Nah “in story” he is, i already said i dont think he is

bro he came back there is a new short on mrbeast channel where they brought back 42 and 58 for split and steal
The absolute worst you can say for 42 is he is the evil leader who genuinely cares for those working under him, which is a rare trope in fiction because it tends to be a bit harder to right.
Has bro seen the short yet?
