not gonna lie just laying in bed and staring at a wall is kinda nice around 3pm, gives my brain a break without the horrible feeling of waking up from a nap.
Waking up from a nap isn't supposed to feel horrible either broski that's probably if you were over-tired and overslept your nap
@@NacrunoCreations I feel like 20 - 40 minutes trying to sleep is making me more anxious, because I'm just trying way to hard to "relax efficiently".
If I want to take a nap I definitly need the feeling of fully drifting away to get something out of it.
But just getting some silence and slowing down the pace of your brain, perception, eye movement and all that, taking some deep breaths really can be a usefull technique to give your day a different direction, when things move really fast

when i have 6hrs of lectures we get a 1hr break at 1 i can usually nap for about 20-30mins and it feels pretty good
dude always nap between 90 mins-2 hours it's one full sleep cycle.

7am - Wake up and immediately stare directly into the sun
8am - Alternate sauna and cold plunge
6pm - Start work
7pm - Meditation
8pm - Nightly sauna and cold plunge rounds
6am - Sleep

AYO CODY DON’T DO THE SAUNA AND COLD PLUNGE. Cold shock will kill you, the rapid change in temperature could greatly damage your nervous system along with vasoconstriction, which will stop your heart.
Finnish people been doing sauna and going out in the snow naked for hundreds of years lol

CODY PLEASE DONT DO THE SAUNA BEFORE COLD PLUNGE! It’s incredibly bad for your nervous system to get heated up and be dunked into ice cold water. Thermal Shock is very dangerous and hopefully Cody hasn’t done that yet

@@Strawberrybabyyy thermal shock. Your nervous system basically hits the windows hard reset button. Seizures are likely to occur, and it can stop your heart if you go from high temperatures to immediately dunking your whole body into ice cold water

Every day after work I go lay in my bed and get high for an hour and sometimes I fall asleep and other times I don’t, so it turns out I’ve been doing advanced meditation this whole time. Sick.

I get a simple routine is fine, but all this extra cold plunge meditation or waking up at 3am is just bs and a waste of time.
How do you know that it’s a waste of time? Have you tried it? And if it is a waste of time, what is better: watching your phone, or doing what you described?
