Rambo is a 2008 American action film directed by Sylvester Stallone, who co-wrote it based on the character John Rambo created by author David Morrell for his novel First Blood.
The story follows the titular Vietnam War veteran (reprised by Stallone) as he leads a group of mercenaries into Burma to rescue Christian missionaries, who have been kidnapped by a local infantry unit. A sequel to Rambo III (1988), it is the fourth installment in the Rambo franchise and co-stars Julie Benz, Paul Schulze, Matthew Marsden, Graham McTavish, Rey Gallegos, Tim Kang, Jake La Botz, Maung Maung Khin, and Ken Howard.
The film is dedicated to the memory of Richard Crenna, who played Colonel Sam Trautman in the previous films, and who died of heart failure in 2003.

    The REAL LAST BLOOD

Exactly. This is the perfect way to end the series, just like Indiana Jones, and the Kingdom of the Crystal skull you see with a fourth installment that ends a storyline with a happy ending. That means the story should be over, not continuing on with another sequel

Great Job Matt, I've Always Loved Rambo 4, Awesome Movie, Great Action, Great Tension, Solid Gore, Stallone, Julie Benz, & Graham McTavish did a Great Job, definitely 1 of the Best Sequels, I've Always Loved Rambo 1, 3, & 4, Great Action, Well Directed & Written, Well Acted, Stallone & the other Actors do an Awesome in those films too, there Definitely some of my Favorites of Stallone, I Like & Enjoy Rambo 2 & 5, they Have Solid Action, Well Directed & Written, I just don't love them, cause I thought they felt Slow every 1s an awhile, that's why I'd say there my Least Favorites in the franchise, but there Still Good Movies IMO

Excellent commentary to my favourite of the series. A brutal, no holds barred violent flick, that dosent hold back on the carnage. For any action fan the climax to Rambo 4 is a visual treat.

1:2429 I agree this film wrapped up the series in a fucking nutshell
I love this film to death this film along with ''Rocky Bolboa''&''The Expendables'' was the perfect way for Sly retire while still on top to me this is the true ''LAST BLOOD'' not that piss poor direct to video wannabe 2019 film IMHO. BTW I love your sniper vigilante movie idea that could actually work as a reboot idea for ''The Exterminator'' with Lance Reddick as the star or Idris Elba? A very wonderful on the fan commentary bro don't the fuck ups it happens to the best of us sometimes happy 4th of july bro!

Sadly the only major action franchises that haven't been tainted by a bad movie so far are John Wick and Indiana Jones. You could add Lethal Weapon to that list but 4 wasn't great tbh. Rambo 5 was mediocre compared to the previous 4 movies- a real letdown
