My Desk setup is a little bit different than most peoples because i don't actually have the nicest office in the world since it's in an old garage and storage space. I've tried to make the most of it but it'll probably never become much better than what i have right now, so i've got to live with it until i can afford a better space. bro not to hate but beyerdynamic are studio headphones meaning producers wear them to make music they are really flat/honest meaning they dont have crazy bass boosted EQ or preferred tone EQ like normal headphones. so it really depends for music making they are essential and for listing they are more true to the played music and frequencies and you could always put your own EQ to make them sound better for listing its really what you want out of them but saying they are bad for music is missing quite a bit of context

Not bad for Music creation*, but kinda bland and boring for just listening to Music for your own enjoyment. You’ve got to think about that everyone ain’t in the music niche, and know how to tune them within the EQ, so i’m just talking about how they are for what i’m doing which is gaming, a little music listening and videoediting, and not everything that’s possible to be done with them.
I know they’re made for studios, however even in that environment they’re kinda low tier entry level headphones, so compared to a lot of other options they aren’t that great.
