    Sounds like you're on the right track. We can't all start with a pristene W30 convertable.

    unless I forgot how to count thats a 12 bolt rear

      There are 12 bolts on the back cover, but only 10 bolts holding the ring gear to the carrier, so most people consider it a 10 bolt...Oldsmobile just being different

    these videos are awesome. I have the exact rear end in my 68 cutlass and I want to upgrade to a posi as well. what was the brand and model of the posi unit you installed?

      Sorry, just saw that website no longer sells the kit i used...it was a yukon Posi unit for the 28 spline rear end and 3.42 richmond gears
