Thanks....had this problem last night for the first time....Took that plug out a lots of water came out🤦....Dried everything and wipers work great....hopefully it didnt damage the motor....But seems to work fine with no issues now....Thanks again
Awesome Thank you. This just started today in subzero temps. I had already emptied that container in warmer weather. Thank you also for including the fuse number. Saved alot of time! hopefully in warmer weather we will see what happens
Thank you sir! My wife broke the lever so I had to learn to replace that, and the relay wasn’t an issue so once I found your video it all makes sense. A bunch of water came out and the rubber gasket was full of gunk. I’ve cleaned it out and now I’ll be going to auto zone, buying a new motor and trying not to cry! 😂
Thanks Glen, this problem is the single most irritating thing there is. Specifically when I'm driving on the highway and the rain stops but the wipers are stuck working only on high 🤬 and smearing it up so bad I can't fkn see!! But anyway, I have another question, my fluid won't pump either, do you think the bad wiper motor has anything to do with that? I know there's a pump bolted into the reservoir tank but maybe it shares power on the same circuit? Any help would be so appreciated sir. How do you like your '11 mustang? I didn't see a good view of it but I'll look and see if you have more videos on it when I'm done typing here. Thanks again.
I am wondering - if the motor is still working, Is it necessary to replace the motor? Or is it enough to blow water out of the motor's electrical connector and put some dielectric grease in?
It seems my car start if I unplug the 9 30 fuse, is it the same for you? how can I stop these wipers, it hardly rains where I am at so just want them off
I just replaced the wiper motor on my 2012 and a couple weeks later they turn on and won't turn off. Sometimes they stop after 10 secs or so, but today they stayed on for about 3 mins till I turned the car off and pulled the fuse. I'm hoping I don't have to replace the whole harness😭😭
@@thegodemperor1152 yeah, it had a short cuz it was full of water. I found the rubber gasket on the bottom and pulled it out, replaced the motor again, now it's good

That's so funny. I was gonna say some wise-ass comment along those when I saw those things and also how painfully slow he talks at the beginning (I didn't get past the first 30 seconds actually).
