Welcome to another episode of The Eight Nine Garage. Thank you for tuning in to this episode, where we go over the new print that I've done. Much thanks to my good friend, Randy, for the assist in designing this. Please, let me know in the comments if this content is helpful to the Fox Body community. Thanks for stopping by, and Subscribe while you're in town.
Here is my other video pertaining to the Wiper Module:

That will be real handy in your help now. Looks like it works out for what you need.
Yeah, agreed. I have ideas... just need to figure out what's next now.
Awesome work
Thank you, Dan. I appreciate it! 🙏
Man that printer is amazing! That’s nice to be able to make parts that you can no longer get. 👊😎✌️
Yep! I'm really happy with it. I've been working on some 5.8 and 351 badges.
Glad it worked out and happy to help. Looks like the screw pattern worked out great.
Yes, it was perfect. Glad you chimed in. Thank you again! I'm stoked to have these now.
Awesome, really amazing to see it already paying dividends for you! One thing I really wanted to do was to engineer and 3d print a new modern-ish map light for fox bodies. Maybe stick an old cell phone or a raspberry pi in it or something.
That's intriguing! Never thought about the map light.... I'm just glad mine stay in place, lol.
Good as new.
Yes, thanks. I'm very happy with it!
Thanks for not putting your butt crack on the video, lol. Good info though and nice job helping the Fox guys out Brother. 👏
Yeah... don't mention it. No problemo! Thank you for always watching.
I better check on mine and see if it is broken under there. Never noticed, but if it is broke up like urs - I'd like to know more.
Yeah, check it out and let us know. Even if you look on Ebay, they are broken. The module box was built with some poorly made plastic.
Just subscribed to your channel, you have some good videos, your base idle reset vid was super easy to follow.
My wiper module mounting tabs are broken and I have had it zip tied up since I got the car 23 years ago. Lmk when you start selling them.
I am pretty close. I did some mods to it, and it still needs some slight tweaking. Hoping to have the final product done this week! Glad you enjoyed the base idle reset video... it's definitely a life saver.
Just to update you, I decided that I wanted to make the box look "somewhat" factory, so I ordered some brown PETG filament. Hopefully I'll have a sample soon.
Need one of these now and prollie some help after hahaha
As always, I will help in any way that I can.
Yes this is helpful!!! Don't know if I need one, but to answer ur question it is very helpful anytime you can print obsulete parts like that.
I'm glad to hear the feedback. Thank you!
@@89G Very welcome Shayne.
I can see that be coming a problem if it was just hangin like that from the wiring n board is xposed.
Yes, that was a concern for sure!
Eight-nine that was awesome. I need to make a bezel for my 12.3 holly screen. Need to know more about 3D printing. How it works the cost and how to pick the right one for your project.
Thanks BSG! What are the dimensions? That's going to be the first thing you'll want to match... your print bed size to what you need.
@@89G I’m not at home right now. When I get home I will scan it with this app I have on my phone and let you know. Also, what do the printer cost?
@@bonezshakergarage This one was $154 at Christmas. This is it in the link - Amazon had it for $25 off at Christmas. This will print approximately 8.6" X 8.6" X 9.8". You'll also want a printer that can print PETG material (most of them will), because it will be on your dash and in the sun.

@@89G thnx 4 the link.
This is gooood things man. Think i need one for mine. How much.
I'm not too sure... gotta figure some things out first.
I feel for you. I have a parts catalog for a warehouse in Virginia. The carry about every part I could need except the FORD callout on the hood and the chrome strip along the lip of the hood. curious
Can you tell me what you need for the callout? The chrome lip is probably too large to print though :(
@@89G They're about an inch tall. They’re individual letters at the front of the hood about 2 inches above the chrome strip.
@@gregdiamond6023 So the letters "Ford"? 67, right?
Well I just ordered a 3D printer. Thanx he he he
LOL, oops. Sorry. I think?
@@89G hahahaha no biggy
That is pretty cool to just make your own parts if ya cant find them. You could probally make a run of them and sell them because im sure yours arent the only ones dryrotted and brittle
That's a possibility for sure. If you look at them on Ebay, they'll all be broken too.
Thanks for watching... maybe 🥒 needs one too?
@@89G Im pretty sure he does , I cant wait to get him , its eating me up wanting to work on him but yeah im confident he will need one im gathering up a few parts here and there for him. The latest news was he didnt have anywhere at the moment to put the engine with both cars in the garage but was going to have a pickle party soon . So thats some positive news. 😁
@@79beans347 I can't wait for you to tell me you got it! I'd be getting really antsy too, LOL.
🤣 Your a funny dude. Good job. (But crack joke he he)
Thank you, glad you were amused!
