same,,, i braid my hair and then loosely tie them on the top of my head with a clip. but i hate it cuz it makes my hair so wavy and curly by the morning 😭
Genuine question what’s so bad about leaving your hair down on a silk pillow? My hair is nowhere near as long or as thick as yours and I barely move in bed at night so leaving it down really doesn’t mess it up and the friction can’t be that bad against a silk pillow. But if I were to tie it up in anyway I know I’d get breakage as I’m already struggling with it and that’s when I used satin scrunchies is still broke. So I prefer it down. But what are the cons to that, what am I missing?
I'm wondering this too. But due to some hip pain years ago, I have to be awake to turn and if my hair gets stuck underneath me, even though I'm awake, it causes problems. I use a silk pillowcase
The only gripe I have with this is curly hair can’t really do this. It risks ruining the curl pattern, at least for my hair texture. I usually go for clipping my ends on top of my head or a pineapple bun.
I love all of your video’s and can’t wait to hear what YOU have to say….can you please use your own voice for these shorts? I don’t know if it is just me but I can’t handle watching videos and hearing this voice everyone uses.
You have beautiful hair! I would love to be able to do that twist hairstyle for bedtime but my very silky very fine hair just falls out. And when I do a regular braid somehow my hair only curls on the right side of my head so it looks so weird when I wake up 😂
Your videos have really helped me in my healthy hair journey-thank you. I don’t yet have enough length to do my hair for sleeping as you suggest. Will you PLEASE do a video with suggestions for those of us with a little shorter hair? Thanks so much!!💜
Ok, serious question. I am so glad I found your channel. Your before hair is… better than my current situation. I’m trying to get my hair back to long and healthy. I also live in a VERY hard water zone. Got the filter. K18. Living proof. But sleep. Did or do you use the silk bonnets for sleep? What are your thoughts? Do they actually help?
I wear one every night and have for a few years. I started because I hated my husband laying on my hair even if it was braided. Now my toddler like to lay all over me when she sleeps. Definitely helps with hair pulling.
I have way too many layers, but I will usually twist my hair really loosely into a top bun or two top buns, so loose that they’re kind of floppy lol? And then I usually put a bonnet over it. Sometimes a French braid will do the trick too, but many of the layers will have fallen out by the time I wake up so I’m not sure it’s very protective lol.
What would you recommend for shoulder length hair? My hair (and layers) are too short to fit in a low bun. I currently just put it in a very loose bun on the top of my head, held by a single duck clip.
Guys here’s my trick you don’t want to damage your hair but still want to sleep with your hair not down just tie with a rubber band only tie at least two times don’t listen to the social media hacks that you cannot do for me I have very short hair so I cannot do you know wrap my hair so just listen to yourself and think what’s best for your hair
So put your hair back in a ponytail like a low one right and then after when you do that go to the bottom but go up a little bit and tie a loose band to your hair again if this works please like my comment
*cries in layers*
SAME! And trying to grow them out.
You're going to sleep. It doesn't have to look good.
@@noddygirl It’s not about it looking good, it’s about the layers poking out from twists/loose braids and rubbing thus creating more damage.
Yikes... I wanted to get layers but you changed my mind, thanks.
get a silk bonnet
I've tried the low twist and my hair falls out while I sleep! The pineapple bun is the only thing that keeps my hair still 😭
Same
try doing a loose braid. i have 3 feet long hair, super wavy and thick, and it works great.
Try a loose big single braid
You can do braids
But don’t do the braids very very tight or it will cause damage 😊
I can't STAND my hair on my neck though while I sleep.
same,,, i braid my hair and then loosely tie them on the top of my head with a clip. but i hate it cuz it makes my hair so wavy and curly by the morning 😭
Maybe use a satin bonnet thing lol
My bed doesn't have a headboard so I usually just do a long braid starting slightly higher on my head and let it dangle off the edge while I sleep.
im under your bed and im gonna eat your hair@@nivedithagirish4023
My hair untwists immediately
My shoulder length hair is laughing and screaming "not gonna happen" at me 😭
Same here
I was just about to comment the same thing
Well shoulder length hair is typically healthier than longer hair. You won’t have to worry about it. Lol
@@hailiniallapanna Not if you wanna get over the shoulder length. It's really hard to grow it longer when it's super fine and easy to break :/
use a fluffy sock to protect its amazing
Can you please briefly explain this? 😊
I have shorter hair and it falls out. So it only helps if you have long hair. Shorter hair girls, pulling it up is ok as long a you make a loose bun

I would like to know too
You can sleep with your hair down without any issues
@@janellhester2263 Yeah people are doing too much these days. Suddenly everything is dangerous.

Me too. I dont know what else to do haha.

I loathe the robot voice too
I was thinking the same thing, that I wish she’d use her own voice. I have to mute the volume
Not YT showing me this short as I search about sleepytie and bun bons 😂
can someone plss make a short hair version
You’re so gorgeous 😍
or you could leave your hair down??
Yeah
Then it gets tangled and frizzy and loses any waves you have.
I do two loose braids like Cinderella just so my hair doesn’t get caught on anything or gets tangled.
What about short hair??
I have my hair up at night , with curlers on the ends. And a stretchy cap with the top open. My hair is longer than its ever been.
Omg thx girl! New subscriber ❤️
Ty so much girl it really helps
You have beautiful hair!

I put my hair in a sort of very loose crown on the top of my head clipped in a few different spots
How do you get it without untwisting???

The bobble will cause breakage anyway so I use a scrunchie
I was just about to wear my hair like that and soon as i see your video i slowly removed it.
@Abbeyyung could you provide tips for sleeping for all hair lengths?
How do you wear your hair to sleep if you have chin length hair?
what if you have curly hair and curtain bangs?
cam you show us what to do with short hair
What about the Sleepy Tie?
Guys here’s my trick you don’t want to damage your hair but still want to sleep with your hair not down just tie with a rubber band only tie at least two times don’t listen to the social media hacks that you cannot do for me I have very short hair so I cannot do you know wrap my hair so just listen to yourself and think what’s best for your hair
Just do one big loose braid
The only thing that almost ripped my hair out and hurts is a brush cuz I have to keep brushing my hair and I it makes the pain more worse and worse
So put your hair back in a ponytail like a low one right and then after when you do that go to the bottom but go up a little bit and tie a loose band to your hair again if this works please like my comment
I wanna do this but I want my hair to stay straight
Doesn't it just de twist while xou move in your sleep, so in the end it's just an elastic at the end of your hair?
But it curls my hair and I want it straight
It Don’t work for me
Guys listen try this
As I’m in bed with my hair in a top bun 🙄😬
Are you guys saying people can... like rub their head out when they sleep if they move around too much ??
2.1k like
Bruh bc you put the bun too tightly gurl that's why
0🤣
thanks alot your only 50 years late with your advice, I'm now bold.
😂😂
