💑 About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steve’s side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70’s, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesn’t love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. I have to admit that I miss Max being there! He was so upbeat, happy, funny and enthusiastic. I like Julia as she is nice.
What happened too Max?
He left for better opportunity! And he was super nice but I wish people would get over him !! With all the family working there ,there was not a great future for him !
I know Max is a long-time friend of the Andrianos family but I'm sure he has career plans that didn't involve him producing candy with them forever.

You could make a bark assortment box with this dirt cup, s’mores, and green caramel apple and call it the summer camp trio or childhood treats trio.
I'm a part time cake decorator I recommend a round two. For sure!! This is such a fun idea being that it's well remembered and still eaten today... I say Use half the worms and still blend the oreos but instead sift them after blending keep the excess dust (set aside) use the chunks of oreo in the mixture of chocolate & worms. At the end add the left over worms and dust the top with the sifted oreo dust. (The dust won't go stale this is how i dust cookies an cream cupcakes) & This will help enhance the oreo flavor 😋 ♥️ I really hope this one gets perfected, such a nostalgia to this one! ❤ 🐛🪱 🍫 🫕
Julia, you have my dream job! LOL! I just ordered some of the hard candies (because it's 112 degrees in AZ right now, and chocolate would be a huge mistake), got them today and I LOVED THEM! So much, that I just ordered some more. Can't wait for the ribbon candy to be available again, I don't care if it breaks in transit. Love your channel, guys - keep up the wonderful work!

When we go fishing with my 4yr old niece she counts and names each worm in the bait containers and as she casts she says bye-bye to them.

I tried this the day they were making it. It was really good. The worms texture was kind of like raisins.

For the past 3 weeks it's been all about the move from Fargo ND to Pahrump NV (about 45 mins west of Las Vegas) and so I am working my way through the videos I have missed while I was out of touch. My favorite type off bark is I take Extra roasted Kraft peanut butter and put in small thing thin candy bar like molds and freeze, then they are covered in chocolate and sprinkle crushed peanuts on top.

I received my 4oz Wormy Dirt bark today along with other stuff and my small batch somehow has zero worms :( That's some bad luck considering Julia used the entire bag of worms. Maybe I'll try again when I place my next order.

Hi Julia! Try putting the crumbs of the cookies through a strainer of some sort. That way the smaller stuff goes through and the larger chunks stay behind. Have fun!

You need to make spiders and flies bark. You need fried noodles plain ones no flavour sachets. Not sure what brands are available in the USA (in Australia we have Changs), Crunchy peanut butter and mini marshmallows and melted chocolate, Milk, Dark or White. You just mix all ingredients together. Some do them in drops from a spoon I do mine on a cookie sheet then slice it. I'm sure you would like it.

We buy those same bags of gummies often and while it shows many different flavors on the bag, inside is only 2 colors and flavors. i have wanted to contact someone and find out why the family size bags of gummi worms and bears have less variety. on another note, we love your channel and hope to one day have money enough to purchase some Hercules candies. Too bad it ain't Halloween or April fools , you could really mess with people by attaching super thin fishing line that isn't easily seen to a gummy worm then putting it in the oreo soil then when someone goes to eat from the mixture secretly move the long fishing line to make the worm wiggle and slowly move in the mixture of oreo soil 🤣

Ive been to New York 3 times in my life, and each time left a bad taste in my mouth.
That said, I would truly like to maybe visit and watch you guys make me drool.
do the ingredients cost more than the end product?
Maybe try less worms inside of the chocolate and more chunks of oreo? The dirt dessert I remember was mostly pudding, oreos and only a few worms on top. It wasn't ever inside of it.
If you add more oreo maybe add some larger chunks along with the more finer ones would be good.
I think that is exactly what we'll do next time!
