I agree with a lot of what you said here. Man utd have been performing so poorly for a long time now. That is a fact. BUT, against Coventry, we had a COMFERTEBLE 3-0 lead for 70 minutes. Coventry didnt even have a sniff. And it all just collapses like that, I cant have that on Ten Hag. That has to go to the players!!
A shinny, a massive deflection and a dodgy penalty. They definitely collapsed but it was caused by luck.
I was putting the blame on ETH until sometime just laid it out. ETH has a game wednesday so he takes out two rookies for 2 internationals 3-0 up expecting them to see the game out. If we just remove the names any good manager should be expected to make that decision. Just in our case the worst possible outcome happened.
As a Coventry fan I feel slightly robbed even if the offside was correct. (Football can drive you made sometimes)
I watched the game with my dad. Couldn’t get tickets for the game. My dad gave up on the team when we went 3-0 down but I tried telling him if we can get one United can crumble.
If we can get one back then we certainly get score a second and if we have 10/15 minutes left we could tie it up… we did just that. Mark Robins has done amazing things since he took charge of Coventry. Bringing them back from League 2 to a checkatrade trophy a couple of years back, playoff final appearance and loss and a fa cup semi final loss on penalties. Hope he stays and with the new ownership I hope we can make small improvements over time and work to make something special.
Plus also Harry Maguire’s weekly salary of £190,000 is around or just higher than the entire Coventry City’s players weekly wages.
The one good thing I’ll take in losing the semi final is even though Man United won, the entire club, fans, and the world know that was their worst possible way to win and nothing to shout about. I look forward to seeing them get crushed come the final.

As a united fan while there’s nothing that has exicited me this season apart from individual performances… the prospect of going through another reset also brings me little to no hope.
