- Hello and welcome back to the tribe,
I am sure you all enjoy cruising your favorite open world map or famous tracks such as Nordschleife in Assetto Corsa.
But to be there on the tarmac all alone, just doesn't cut it and takes a lot away from the immersion.
Just at this point the possibility of adding traffic comes in to play. May be many of you are wondering how to do that exactly.
My fellow tribesmen in this video I am going to show you how to add simple traffic to your maps and what software you need with which settings to do it.

May be you have walking out feature enabled. You should disable and try again.

Thank you for this great tutorial about using AI traffic in Assetto and linking my traffic pack,
just a small hint:
you can easily find the traffic from the description in content manger by searching "traffic"
and you can easily create your own AI traffic from other car mod limited to normal non-racing behaviour from one of my traffic cars by copying the inis for Aero, engine, AI, drivetrain and the power.lut from the data folder.

car stays parked at the pit when i start the map, they not on road :/
I think I messed something up with my game. Wahtever settings I apply, cars ONLY spawn on the Pit and nowhere else even with 2-lane addon for the map and the settings from this video.

Can you use the traffic packs for online server to make it work? I saw a video where server settings were done through CM and then the mod was packed and then dragged over to the server folder. But the videos online have been showing to use a downloaded AI Spline and move it into the track of your choice but the issue with that is that I cannot find AI-Spline mods. So to play online with ai traffic, do you have to have a certain ai line for each track or is it possible to just add traffic like you did here when packing the mod and it run?

It doesn't work for me, I have CSP 0.1.76. , my map is high force with traffic, I haven't downloaded the classic map, I followed all the instructions in this video and it still says that the game crashed, and I got only 12 AI cars selected.

hi what's the name of your animated wallpaper, it looks so cool! Also does this traffics mod compatible with Shutoku Project map?
It is from steam wallpaper engine, I guess you can find it by searching with keyword "car"
And yes you can put traffic on shutoko with this method.
the race department link doesnt want to work. also for some reason the AI cars keep crashing into each other and going off the road, and i copied the settings that you showed for the AI's on the same track as you

We got the same GPU :) but your visuals look shit load better, n I'll support your channel with a like n sub. Once my internet is connected again I'll have more vids up but I can't upload at 50 - 100kbs it's like being back in the Early 2000s late 90s again lol 3 hours to upload a 5 min video lol atm

Hello Mr. Simtribe, for your union island are you on the current version or previous, if it’s the current version did you have road textures at first with the traffic map?
I downloaded the latest version from racedepartment.com. I guess it was the version from 15th of Sep. And I did nothing special on the map, no other textures or something are added. :)
@@SIMTRIBE ah okay, thanks for the reply. I spent some of the day having to fix problems with my road textures because of traffic ai, and if anyone else needs help I shall leave some here. The mod author posted a file fix and instructions for files that were changed with the new map update, I was unable to replace them because of administrative pc issues, but I just ended up using winrar in admin mode to get around this, if anyone needs the file link it’s attached to the traffic mods update tab

You can increase number of opponents. Traffic speed can be set under custom shaders patch and then under new ai behaviour.
The ai cars just stay in the spawn area, i disabled walking out and I did everything, help?

Try switching to a newer CSP version within Content Manager. Try a few different versions if you need to
