If we're lucky that might be Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown when it launches.
The physics in Horizon is fine. It's the map. The roads are ridiculously wide even the tightest city road still feels like 4 wide line. FH with realistic road width would already be more than enough for an open world arcade game.
@@radityaindera3442 Yes Horizon is a great arcade racer, but I want something more like a sim like AC, AMS2, etc. So again like I first mentioned, something open world like Horizon or the Crew, but with more realistic driving physics.

I was literally just looking for some new maps since im new to AC! It was worth subing to you, great content! Also I'm waiting for more iRacing as im still debating if I should get it or not (I should but can't get over its price yet lol)
With LFM coming to assetto recently, I'm pretty content with not switching. The only reason I've been even considering irasing is Nascar, and the curbs in AC are probably going to be the death of me! But I'm probably not going to spend that kind of money for something like that

I live near High Force and I've driven those roads IRL, the detail is incredible and still my go to for a night drive in light rain. You say it doesn't have traffic but the one I downloaded does, it's not perfect like they sometimes get stuck in very tight parts but 90% of the map is great for realistic overtakes on the back roads. I can't remember where I got it but I didn't have to go hunting for a special AI version, it was just like a a standard release available to everyone. Just go in track day and add cars to opponents.
Local to me also, it's surreal driving around familiar roads in VR, brilliant stuff

Just fun fact. I actually studied in the school that apears at the first section of the Arrabassada map. As someone who knows the real place very well, I can say that the map is really accurate. Even the gas station.

im surprised the Tokyo one isn't on here, although, it probably isn't as expansive as some of the other ones.. I do find myself getting lost
Can you change the traffic on these maps, to drive on the opposite side of the road?
It would make these maps more popular, as I for one wouldn't bother with the ones that drive on the opposite side on the road than what I'm used to in RL...

I recommend checking out Maps by 4R. Especially Hamburg, its pretty amazing what kind of work he has done. It is patreon only tho.

This is for Assetto Corsa, not Assetto Corsa Competizione as that's a completely different game.
Me strugling to make a small track in blender for AC but the AC Track editor crashes, and other people are making open world maps.....i need to watch more tutorials i guess.

i found that the other day. a LOT of it is really low poly physical mesh so its not great to drive on. its interesting to explore once
