Right, but their ecosystem is much smaller, and they have much less official support by developers, especially on playstation, where you have no official support at all. That means you're always 1 update away from being locked out and needing to get a new wheel. That + the fact that the Fanatec DD+ has supported button profiles in games like gt7 means that saving 150 dollars is not worth it.
@@maxboskeljon6440 True but as a pc player I dont really care about ps/Xbox but wish console community had more official support, also, the fanatec situtation is crazy right now so I wouldnt buy into them regardless of platform
I got the DD plus and an xbox wheel so it can be compatible with all systems in my house. Say theoretically I want to hop on GT7 on PS5 then I can or Forza on xbox, no problem. While still being able to use it all on a PC
@@TonyMezaXD Buy once cry once (although I have had a TMX for the last 5 years and used it till the teeth on the gears broke.) still putting together my Trakracer frame but hopefully will have it all set this weekend.
Gran turismo 7 is worth far more than the premium for DD+. While others are playing with settings, GT7 online racers are taking P1 with fantastic dynamic rain and healthy positive community. Maybe why sim extremists aren't there.
Idk where u get the positivity of gt7 but the dd+ is the one with compatibility and a better price tag jus makes more sense especially when pc has more to offer for a wheel anyway
@@jaydenwebster6050 where is the online daily racing and big global events like nations cup even 1% as good as Gran turismo 7? GT7 is lapping the competition, and nothing remotely compared to it's fantastic looks and great consist performance. 1440p is incredible and no driver, config, patch annoyances and time wasting. Just get right to great racing and so many cars and tracks. Empirically, it's a no brainer.
I want the dd+, but fanatec will not release the qr1 adapter. The website has said it is coming soon for months now with no eta in sight i can understand not having it for the early adopters because they will pay for the qr2 upgrades for their wheels but untill full force is working in games i don't want to spend the extra $500 it will cost to upgrade all my wheels to qr2 and my old playstation wheel does not even have a replacable qr option since the supply for these has stabilized what are they waiting for?
Don't use a QR1 with a CS DD or DD+ because once the base detects you are using a QR1 the base limits itself to 8nm instead of 12nm/15nm. Might as well get a CSL DD or DD GT PRO at that point.
Honestly they should add an option to race other people with the same control set up. I'm tired of racing the p2w players who all spent money on wheels.
Sorry to say this, but this isn’t a equipment problem, it is a you problem, I have seen controller players beat people that have $1000 setups on many racing games
Bro, simagic alpha costs 850 dollars? and with 40 bucks addon works on ps5 also

Most reviewers now say the CS DD is quite better than Simagic in FFB and it is more comparable to Asatec

clubDD now with f1v2 for 900 is a steal :)

Ok High roller. Congratulations. I might do the same.

Good luck getting it this year 😂
Shouldn’t be a problem with the clubsport bases. From my understanding it was just the Black Friday items that had massive delays.
Got mine this year came six days after ordering

The DD+ works on PlayStation and PC the DD is PC only? How does that make sense
well it’s cheaper and a tad bit weaker than the dd+
Is the fanatec csl dd ready2race bundle worth it?
In my opinion yes 👍

More money spent on wheels ≠ winning more races.
With all due respect, if this is your mentality, then your setup is not the problem, dude.

Isn’t the moza r21 1000$?
Maybe? But it’s not compatible with any consoles
Fanatec is overpriced. Specially compared to simagic or moza. I personally have multiple fanatec wheels already, but I'm switching.
Moza and Simagic are not as good as the DD+.
I agree to a degree but Fanatec is way better in terms of game compatibility.
Isn't Fanatec is corporate chaos right now?
Fanatec is stabilizing. Corsair is buying Fanatec and taking care of its large debt.
Just buy the Cammus C12
the clubsport DD+ is the same price as the podium DD1 wheelbase, just get that wheel base and you get 20 NM torque rather than the clubsport dd+ 15 NM
Dd+ is better in almost every way. Dd+ reported 15nm is sustained torque, not peak torque like usually reported.
