Entry level rig for top of the line wheel bases? A 5nm wheel base is top of the line? If youâre getting a dedicated rig you probably shouldâve upgraded from the g20/thrustmaster before or during that transition
?!?!?! How is a csl dd a top of the line wheel? if your getting a proper rig you should at least have an entry level dd wheel. If your only using a g29/t300 then you should stick to a wheel stand.
I'd hold off buying anything from Fanatec until after they resolve their internal problems. Also, it seems hypocritical sending out stuff to reviewers when they aren't able to cope with demand and customer ordered/paid deliveries. It's a whole bunch of wrong.
@@xMoulahyes but buying from a brand that might be at the edge of bankruptcy does concern people hence why some people buy their stuff from different brands
"For people who don't want to deal with different shipping" Yup. Because at fanatec they won't ship it at all. And when it does finally make it to your door, the parts will be wrong. Then when you try to contact them about replacements, they ghost you. Spent the extra 150 or so and get a track racer.
so basically i can buy GT omega light rs9 seat with optional front mounting for 820 euros and as it is made of aluminum profiles its better in durabilty ok
8020 aluminum extrusion rig is much better and can be found at $400-500. 8020 aluminum extrusion rigs are pretty much the end game chassis most racers upgrade to so might as well buy it right off the bat instead of wasting money on this $400 'starter' rig.
It's a good match for someone who just wants to buy all things by Fanatec and doesn't want to fiddle around with options that will be available once you go the extrusion rig route.
I believe the Next Level Lite Monitor stand should be great. It retails for $100 and you can get 5% off using my discount code. I donât think thereâs any other options at a similar price
So, I have a Thrustmaster ecosystem, so not to nitpick, but if you buy a Fanatec wheel base, why would you use a TM TLCM instead getting a Fanatec load cell set?
If you exclude the monitor stand itâs a fair ticket. Include the monitor stand & itâs a decent ticket. It doesnât seem like the best. But for a 5-8nm DD⊠itâs alright.

ah yes an entry level rig that only works with top of the line wheelbases
