    4:41 - he invented that line through that chicane. Every year thereafter all the drivers copied him.
    As Martin Brundle implies throughout this, that's the correct line to take, and if you look at all the other drivers, none of them were able to figure that out. See 7:16 for case and point.

    Michael setting the time, Montoya not quite keeping up but Räikkönen and especially Ralf outdriving Micheal in the last two sectors was quite impressive.

      I think MSC was cautios because he had 9 pts of advantage but still impressive laps from Kimi and Ralf.

    Looking back after 20+ years I feel this was a weekend where McLaren’s lack of proper development on the MP4/17D basically do bit them on the backside. Montoya more or less was well on his way to win until his car had hydraulic problems while saying Ralf Schumacher’s race was a disaster would be an understatement
