Rob/Jon's would be using direwolves alongside them, arthur daynes would be dual wielding and anyone with a valeyrian steel sword would be them using theirs. Eurons would be a valeyrian steel platebody that makes body hits do nothing.

Yeah, but why the hell would the Lord of this land, or the Master of Ships, or heck the King himself, be squatting around the filth like a common footsoldier?
They'd probably require some good explaination like you're the youngest son of a Lord who spends most of his time on horseback adventuring. Or you're like Euron Greyjoy, sailing the high seas, or maybe a Tarly hunting...
Actually come to think of it, maybe I'm wrong. But still, most of Game of Thrones take place in courtrooms, not the open landscape.

Man, since HBO is already talking about a GOT spin off (most likely the dunk and egg stories) they should totally consider doing a whole season on just the histories and the lore, with each sherlock style 1,5 hour episode covering a specific timeline (first men invasion vs the children of the forest, andal invasion, long night and the WW, aegon's conquest, dance of dragons, targ reign). But this probably won't happen since it would be too expensive

Thea The Genius That is a great idea. There are so many great stories set in GRRM's world. A series of short adaptations of these tales would be awesome. Dunk and Egg is a great story, but hardly worth a whole series. They could do it in a few episodes and also do the dance of dragons, the defiance at Duskendale, or Robert's Rebellion. These stories would be amazing to see made with the budget HBO spends on GoT.

Tywin and Randyl Tarley placed the same value on legacy, but Tywin would have put Sam's intelligence to good use. Tywin recognized Tyrion's intellectual gifts even as he despised him. Randyl didn't even know what he had, he could have been a real rival for power in the Reach.

@@mahoganysqueeze I couldn’t agree more. The problem with Randal Tarley is that House Tarley has a legacy as pure soldiering and they revel in this history and identity. As a result, Randal never thought in political terms and couldn’t see the value in Sam since he and the Tarleys on value martial prowess and demonstrated valor. It’s a warning against being myopic I think.

To be a great actor is to be a great narrator. You must be able to tell the story, or even a portion of the story to the audience. This is the "trick" of how you fill in the blanks and details that a book is very full of, yet fit it into a TV series or a movie. Shakespeare did this a lot with his plays, although he'd drown his audience in words. Every actor/actress should enjoy a good storytelling, parents love telling stories to their kids...

Robar wielded this Lady Forlorn during the Battle of the Seven Stars, using it to kill Torgold Tollett and a decoy dressed as Ser Artys Arryn. The Corbrays claim that Ser Jaime Corbray slew Robar in the battle, allowing them to reclaim the original Lady Forlorn. At the time of the First Blackfyre Rebellion, Lady Forlorn was wielded by Ser Gwayne Corbray of the Kingsguard. During the Battle of the Redgrass Field Gwayne fought Daemon Blackfyre, who wielded the Valyrian sword Blackfyre. Eventually Daemon defeated his enemy. An unnamed Lord Corbray wielded Lady Forlorn during the Battle of the Trident in 283 AC. When Lord Corbray was wounded, his younger son, Lyn, took up the sword and killed the man who had wounded his father. Lyn then led the charge against the Dornishmen and killed Prince Lewyn Martell of the Kingsguard. Because of this feat the sword was left to Lyn instead of the elder Lyonel Corbray when their lord father died.
