@@lordtachanka4520 The man has to put bread on the table and dubas pays well. I think Dubas' replacement is doing just fine, focussing on the post season more than the regular season. We'll see if it results in an extra round in the playoffs.

Pittsburgh wanted that game! Crosby got beat down there and had few calls go his way. Ran into the net, high sticked, blind sided run-in with Matthews, hand pass etc. Was something to see! Hope Pits makes it

The Leafs played panthers hockey last night, and it seemed to work. They stopped calling penalties after awhile.

I don't know why so many hold a gruge against Dubas. I don't understand where all this Schadenfreude comes from. It's not that he came out, told everybody he secretly hated the Leafs all along and was happy he got out of the hellhole that's called Toronto.
All this year did so far for me was appreciate his work even more.
If leaf fans are to suggest that dubas was basically lying about being emotional and passionate towards the leafs, then they're the ones being petty.
he wasted key years and made bad signings and trades. Signing guys like ritchie mrazek. The barrie trade and getting o reilly when he didn’t wanna re sign. The failure to make them physical enough for the playoffs. He was only good at drafting.
If you really want to piss Dubas off, start Jones in goal against Detroit on Sat.

It’s pretty obvious that the word is out about playing in Toronto. Dive, dive allot, arch your back when diving, throw in a mid air barrel roll, & end up with your feet in the air. The refs will award you with a powerplay.

Why can’t us Leafs fans be secure enough to admit we got gifted that game on a gold platter by the refs? I get the Pens went 0/5 but when it mattered most the refs refused to call a blatant penalty when the game mattered most. Admitting we didn’t deserve to win does nothing to the final score, be a man and admit the truth

Jason Spezza regrets following Dubas
(Pens fan here). Thought the refereeing was borderline criminal. Some SOFT calls, some "Huh?" calls, some missed calls. FYI for those that don't watch the Pens, their PP is among the league WORST (31st out of 32 teams). Putting the Pens on the PP isn't the big scary moment it used to be.
