Longlegs just had another test screening, this time at Beyond Fest. And the raves keep coming. They brought out Cage and Oz too. It's looking good for this one being the scariest movie of the year.

I can see the comparisons to Silence of the Lambs. Pervading feeling of dread. Disturbing imagery. Glimpses of depravity and weirdness. Atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere. It’s all good, man. Am interested.
I will say this. I love Cage. I’m very nearly positive it’s gonna be another amazing performance of his. The voice indeed sounds creepy as hell. That said, part of me wishes it was a lesser known actor playing the role. That way, I’m focused more on the character and less on the actor. I hope I can mostly forget that it’s Nic Cage on the screen and just this terrifying new screen villain. I am not complaining though. Cage is a legend and rightfully so. And I’m confident he’s more or less disappeared into this role. Looking forward to this one.

Agreed. He effed Halloween up horribly. Mike Flanagan should have been given the keys to that vehicle.
