A second season doddism featuring Jimmie Dodd singing and talking about the 1941 film "Bambi", and how Bambi learns how important safety is.
This is followed by a very short and distorted looking (and sounding) third season Alma mater closing (looks like Disney didn't bother to remaster the syndicated episodes for the Best of the MMC DVD, even though I did try to touch the video up a little bit here...) It's also interesting to note how inconsistent the syndicated episodes were in terms of editing. This clip is a good example, as it uses clips from two different seasons, rather than just one. This entire clip is from a syndicated episode aired on August 28, 1962.
