Love seeing my Uncle Bob---such a great guy, passed away too young (29). Thank you for posting!
Jimmie Dodd wrote the 🎶 and lyrics for The Mickey 🐁 Club back in the ‘50s. 👍🏻 if you recognized him.
The FAMILY-FRIENDLY America I love to remember... now (and very sadly) mostly long gone...
The BOTTLES are the WOODWINDS??? I knew I was in trouble in this first season musical but it was beneficial to my ABS.
May Karen Pendleton Rest in Peace. She was the youngest of the original Mouseketeers. :'(
ONE of the youngest. There was also Bronson (not seen here, I know) who was 7 years old. Karen was 8 at the time. And so was Cubby.
Bronson Scott was only 7 when she was hired for the first season (she turned 8 during the season, while Cubby and Karen turned 9), making her the youngest of the Mouseketeers.
How cute. Karen was silently lip performing Darlene and Jimmy's lines from memory until it was her turn to speak her lines out loud.
Annette became really gorgeous. Sad what happened to her
Multiple sclerosis is to blame. Such a shame that she’s 💀.
Annette is now an Angel
Sure made that park cleaner's job easier.
I hope this didn't encourage kids to play with garbage.
5:09 Karen's bored here
What do you think was Cubby sharing to Doreen? If this happened in real life 0:27
Who's the park cleaner guy? Is it Jerry Colonna?
That’s Bob Amsberry, the show’s third adult leader. He played a number of adult parts on the show that Jimmie and Roy couldn’t fill. Despite appearing on all 3 seasons of the MMC, he’s still lesser known than Jimmie and Roy, and unfortunately passed away while the third season was still airing (1957).
How do combs make music?
Easy, you put a piece of paper in back of them and it sounds like a kazoo. Some boys in my class did this over 50 years ago, they would do the Winston Cigarette Song. I had a good laugh because I knew they were being crazy
And the classroom is hardly any place for a symphony
