Kaspersky Lab has been hacked. Hackers penetrated the iPhone of dozens of its employees
iPhone smartphones belonging to Kaspersky Lab employees were attacked using the notorious vulnerability "Operation Triangulation". The exact number of hacked devices is unknown, but there may be dozens of them. The vulnerability has been present in Apple smartphones for years.
Powerful hacking of Kaspersky
The iPhone smartphones of Kaspersky Lab employees have been subjected to a massive hacker attack. The attackers exploited the well-known vulnerability "Operation Triangulation", which has been present in iOS for at least four years. Apple closed it only in the summer of 2023 with the release of the iOS 16.5.1 build. Kaspersky Lab publishes all details about this vulnerability on its Securelist website, which is a blog with reports on information security threats, threat analysis, virus reverse engineering and statistics.
According to the Ars Technica portal, the number of hacked iPhones in Kaspersky can be measured in dozens. Representatives of Kaspersky Lab confirmed the fact of hacking to CNews, but did not name the exact number of compromised devices, without also revealing the consequences of the attack. "As part of this malicious campaign, some employee devices were indeed compromised, malicious activity was detected using our KUMA solution," Kaspersky Lab told CNews.
"We need to destroy emulation of our games so we can sell our half assed attempts at it." - Nintendo
True 😂
They just protecting a sh-ty revenue stream
The worst thing is that it works for them, I still find it incredible and sad at the same time how many players get excited every time they announce a new game in the online service.
I mean they get excited to play titles that can be played for years even on old cell phones and for free without having to pay money month after month depending on an online connection.
It's like if they announce that from tomorrow sunlight and oxygen is free and we all get excited.
Nintendo has the fate of Japan on their shoulders ....
It's actually crazy cause when they did virtual console the emulators had very good input with like no lag. At least for 3ds and the wii/wii u. The switch emulators have sucked other than gameboy and gameboy advance which actually are decent.
I just played the Super Mario theme using a hand to compress air through my armpit with the window open. The DMCA should arrive presently.
Nintendo: the subpar emulation experience.
Starting to think they go after all the emulators because their self concious
They should hire those developers instead of destroying their work but hey.
Stupid Asian company i guess
@@justin-hurdyuh it’s like when a insecure man gets upset his girl was with a man that was bigger than him 😂
Nintendo: The subpar gaming company today.
3:50 Protect the corporations at all costs. It's about time the government thinks of the little guy. 🤦♂
fun fact, you can disable that anti piracy shield by forcing european google DNSes, its the most stupid integration i even seen ever, for both incompetency and workarounds
Nintendo is like high school bully . Dumb with anger management issues but everyone are tolerating him because he is good at playing football.
Exactly 100%.
can you blame them? majority of emulator users are pirating their game
you are not on their shoes that is why you're hating them
They are like Kamoshida of Persona 5. If you know about Persona 5 (spoilers) Kamoshida used his power as he was a champion to silence children who spoke against him
@@sjwjsaw🤡
@sjwjsaw , and everyone is only gonna do it more, because a good chuck of the desirable games are abandonware, and have a superior experience on PC for astonishing prices on ebay. While taking down fan projects, perfectly legal stuff, and dragging their reputation through the dirt, I don't feel bad.
I don't know how Nintendo can go after emulation so aggressively and yet they're so terrible with providing the games themselves. Perfect Dark is one of those games that should have been made available day one, not seven years down the road in a somewhat working condition.
They don’t care they can take a dump on there plate and sell it to y’all and y’all still eat it
Its a good thibg I didn’t but anything Nintendo :P@@Ghostlynotme445
I suppose it’s kind of the opposite of the GabeN Piracy Principle. Rather than making their option a decent and accessible alternative, they’re banking on making piracy and emulation inconvenient enough by driving it far enough underground for their fanbase (many of whom might not really care to dig around for emulation anyways due to being general casual audiences) to just default to using their offerings on Switch instead.
As for why they’re repeatedly so poorly designed? I really can’t tell, but it’s pretty damning that emulation of games over two decades old on a system that should be FAR stronger still ends up as choppy as this. Ironically enough, they do state that they prefer to hire people who have previous experience in emulation development on their online job offers, and I’ve never been able to get why they seem to be conflicting their own line with that.
As for the drip feed…just classic Nintendo scarcity marketing, same as usual. They always seem to think dripping products out bit by bit is better for boosting demand, so much so that it governs their approach to merch, game hardware, novelty microconsoles and even retro games (which is possibly part of the reason they’re so strict on emulation).
I think it's this cheap late 2000's silverish plastic that makes the Neptune look so cheap.
Personally I like it for the fact they as a very SEGA inspired country aim to produce a FPGA setup for the full MegaDrive/Genesis set which too uses the Neptune prototype's design if I recall correctly.
I've sold my NS, but I'm since I'm following your channel into emulators. So, I've booted my Project 64 version of Perfect Dark and connected my 8BitDo Bluetooth N64 controller. It's working great! Thnx for all your insights and information on doing emulation 🎉
Really? You should of kept it and modded it. Native switch is better than emulation.
@@robmalcolm8042 Lol.
@@robmalcolm8042 I'm not emulating switch. Just the n64 game which I've had played on original cartridge back in the day :-)
Why not emulate the xbox360 port, or use the PC port?
@@vicviper0017 X360 imo was rubbish. PC port I don't know anything about. My experience with Project 64 & Perfect Dark in combination with my BT N64 controller are good
No matter how hard they try emulation and roms will never die.
Refreshed all my No-Intro verified Nintendo ROM sets today. Just doing my part.
4:35 so wait if the tax payers are paying for pirated stuff, does that mean that they can use it since they are paying for it ?
Hell if I was Italian I would pirate the crap out of stuff. Although I already do that sometimes lol.
The Neptune was an unreleased Sega console that combined the Genesis/Mega Drive and the 32x in one console. It even looks the same!
Brazil does love them some Sega consoles
If only there was a Neptune with a CD tray!
Wait, no Nintendo DMCA's today? Is there a Japanese holiday going on or what?
Nintendo is spending a lot more money getting rid of preservation, then providing us the content we've been begging for, and it's getting ridiculous at this point!
That's because they want to control access to their old media in the exact same way as the Disney Vault - by making their own staggered releases the only way to play their games
@@csolisr Well screw them! Just as well people always seem to find a way to continue fighting the system.
Lucky us living in countries with real freedom, instead of the US.
Russia and China have more freedom than the USA does, which is scary
Unfortunately.
Nintendo hates emulators so much they self-sabotage.
Bruh, Fighting Force is such a nostalgic game in PS1, i remember you can actually cheese the bosses there by grabbing their body and punching them in the stomach until they die 🤣
hahahaahahah amazing
Lmao that shield thing. You can see the AGCOM had nothing to do that day. What a bunch of lunatics. All to protect some multi-million football club's livestream while still not providing a decent service. Way to to.
Thanks for mentioning the free Epic game. I tried to log into my account to redeem it, but I was met with the weirdest captcha I've ever seen, which glitched out and didn't let me in. I might be able to get past it with enough effort, but I've got enough to play for now...!
At some point, I'll need to start a MiSTeR project involving a real GBA, but there is one huge problem: I can't host on Parsec because Linux.
I wonder if the Neptune FPGA will be released outside of the US?
about Neptune: correct me if I'm wrong, but the video game situation in Brazil is that games are absurd expensive, so they need to start producing locally to somewhat compete to multinationals, or at least get their attention enough so they build HQs over there and the prices aren't as high (kinda like Xbox in Mexico, prices aren't as high as playstation games
5:04 Democrats and Republicans are the same party the only thing that separates them is the Window dressing they use.
Yep,its called controlled opposition...too bad most people are too stupid to see it,both parties have been dismantling the US.
Resistance against greedy companies must beeing growing up.
It's nice to hear updates about the Nithersx2 or Yuzo Skylen Nintendo
That Neptune FPGA is designed after what the Sega Neptune, a console combining a Genesis/Mega Drive and a 32x, supposedly would look like. It looks like it can play carts too. That's actually pretty cool. If it's under $50 (which I sadly doubt) I'd probably buy it.
I realized that waaaay after the fact. Males a ton of sense
Mr Sujano I know this isn't the subject of you're video but can the emulator classicboy pro can play multiplayer
Im just gunna wait for the Limited Run Games USB vending machine!
Isn't MVG involved in the development of some of those Limited Run Games that were shown and announced I guess its mostly remasters cause its not exactly on the same level of what Night Dive is doing but I am still glad to see these games coming back.
Some really interesting games had the Limited Run Games showcase, aside of Gex I was glad to see they brought back the Fear Effect games and Bubsy (yes, I like Bubsy, lol!).
Sadly only thing that I dislike from LRG is how they handle the physical games and their horrendous prices of shipping for non-US residents, so in my case I have to buy the games digitally... (years later when it goes on sale. 😂)
Next Fightcade update will add PS2, Gamecube and XBOX, so people would happily play Budokai Tenkaichi 3 online without the need of PCSX2.
That would be the day haha
Does anybody have a complete HD texture pack for perfect dark N64?
The problem with the switch is there's no real competition. This is why anti-competition laws are made. We get a sub par system that forces games to run like they're PS2 games. Pwoeple will mention steam deck and the like but they aren't really comparable. Game boty and the like had sega game gear to compete with. Nowadays there is nothing.
Hopefully somebody will port "Over Horizon" from NES to SNES. The biggest problem of the game to me is, that soundeffects will silence some parts of the music. This is one of my alltime favorites on the NES. BTW game never came out in the US and currently the only way to play 60 Hz is Japanese version. But the game is so obscure, that most people wouldn't care. :-( I really need to get into how to do it myself.
Back in the day when Nintendo was still fun and have a wide library to choose from , they would never waste their time with DMCAs at all...now is the opposite.
Correct me if I'm working but it's the GF1 Neptune using the canceled Sega Neptune shell design
I didn't make that connection because I am dumb.
i have to say. tor lately on android has been faster than usual. great improvement
Issues on NSO? Sounds like a normal day. Part of why I switched to a mini PC.
I think I'm done paying for switch online never really used it besides fortnite and rocket league n64 emulation isn't really worth it especially when you can buy so many games Sega and others with old retro games they emulate I've got mario all stars 3d and Mario party game
Fortnite is free on pc, the fact they charge you money to play it online is criminal
@FlamespeedyAMV the fact that nintendo fans accept it speaks volumes
Modding the switch is the best option. You get the online free and all switch games natively free. It's better than a emulator and I'm a emulation enthusiast dam near
@@FlamespeedyAMVI am pretty sure that fortnite doesn't require Nintendo switch online membership.
@@FlamespeedyAMV Even Xbox made f2p games free to play online back in 2021 (so you no longer needed Gold to play them online, just Silver)
Just waiting for a day when someone makes remix of the song YMCA to Y-DMCA? and includes Nintendo of course xD
Wait, that's how you pronounce Kaspersky? I've been calling it "Casper-sky" for years. Damn it lol
Silent S
Kaspersky is still a thing? And Norton too?
any better alternative?
You know they stop some sites but there are other sites
I'd rather just wait for Analogue's upcoming 4K N64 clone than play N64 games on NSO
I used to use Kaspersky back when antivirus was necessary, but I imagine since I'm switching from Win10 to Nobara Linux, I'll have to worry about antivirus even less soon
anti virus isn't even needed on windows anymore. windows defender does a damn good job at blocking anything you download and run that has the potential to be malicious
@@Meowmeowmewowo yeah I agree
@@Meowmeowmewowoexcept that it skips certain three letter agency tools which Kaspersky was catching. That made them angry quite a long time ago. Kaspersky lab actually not only found those but disclosed a lot of information on how that stuff was working. Welcome to the cyberpunk future. No flying cars just yet, implants are primitive, and no fancy-shmancy 3D cyberspace. Everything else is exactly like they imagined back then. And soon corporations will start hot WW3 after which they will rule, when countries and governments will fall.
Nintendo seems more blinded by revenge and desperation against small emulation sites more than clever procedure. Quite ludicrous , childish and unnecessary behaviour from a multibillionaire company deeds. So unprofessional.
So let me guess perfect dark online performs fine on emotion on android and pc? But not Nintendos own console
What are the benefits of a game being ported to the SNES?
fun
I’m glad carbon engine releases and the decision to go digital for certain releases single handedly make limited run not an entirely trash company
Why porting zelda 2 to snes if there's already pc port? And it isn't only port, but it adds dlc-sized amount of content .
Because why not, more viabilitys the better maybe someone out there will play it on the actual hardware or whatever
@@Cyborg647 ok
Because, Spongebob!
Fighting force is a great game, it's one of those games where the first one is the best. The second fighting force is a completely different style of game, more like winback cover operations. And it's not good at all lol
I remember playing the PC demo of the first one, and liking it, kind of a 3D version of the old 2D beat em ups (SOR, Final Fight etc.) Played the 2nd one on Dreamcast, hated it after 5 minutes.
I have a feeling Nintendo's lawyers are going to go after Infidelity. Especially considering some of the ports he's doing are locked behind a patreon paywall. I knowthose are beta versions, but still, isn't patreon how how they nailed the guy who did the Pokemon mod for Palworld? Then again, Nintendo is literally striking down everything right now, so anything can happen...
You'd think Nintendo would learn from their mistakes with OOT...
"Emulation stiffles inovation", except when they do it in a subpar manner.
Nintendo employment are acting like spoiled brats and a judge should stop this behavior, yes a desist letter is under the court but Nintendo employment team might sugar coat or go to a court ruling who is uneducated with video games and/or the lame executions brought on by Ninty through out the years. Someday Ninty might think a judge might be stupid but hopefully will order Nintendo to pay everything they deceitful and thoughtlessly destroy. Gosh I hope Ninty will eventually learn that. 🤔
Fightcade updated OMG
finally timestamps again
OMFG FIGHTING FORCE
The IPTV one is disgusting, another case of paying taxes only for those taxes to be used to screw you over and inconvenience you. As for Kasperkiy/Kasperky, eh, it's a shitty AV anyway, and nowadays if you're smart enough you only need Windows Defender/don't even need one.
I disagree, Kaspersky is pretty good still.
Don't buy anything from nintendo. Make them feel that their stupid actions are not tolerated.
Hey Mr. Sujano! An Italian citizen here. Thanks a lot for the news about the IPTV shield. I'm not a user of that kind of illegal service. I barely watch the regular tv. The IPTV thing is a market that I don't wanna support in any way, because we all know what those money would be used for. Anyway, the first version of the shield was kinda embarrassing, lol. It even caused issues with some legit websites. We'll see what they will come up with. It's gonna be fun for sure. Stay tuned. Italy sometimes is cringe AF. 3rd world crap level.
I don't know any legally Mobo jumbo but I think Nintendo should relearn what fun means again, Nintendo should realize how they're approaching things is wrong. Remaking or remastering old video games just to rerelease video games 😅 and gullible fans are dumb enough to buy these'😮 Whoa (Some old game) but it's in HD technology i need it) like to an average person 'Pfft who cares, rereleases just tricking costumers in forking over money because of a greedy corporation'. I believe a judge who's fimular with the tactics should stop Nintendo's intentions. 'Stop or shut Nintendo down for stupid off the wall decisions, take down fanmade, mods and 😅 sheet music (Very stupid takedown). All resembles fun so Ninety you dislike people having fun and being creative...a fanmade game should be honored not oh we request a Ceased and desist, wheres the fun in that?'
NetherSX2 is the future
You will not be dropping any links in the description above. Please, stop.
All links are located in the github link at the bottom of the description. My news is open source! ☺️
I refuse to buy anything from LRG.
Not because of the CD-R thing but because they've bent the knee to a certain political ideological group and have allowed themseves to be bullied into firing an employee for nothing but being interested in a specific video game.
At some point, Nintendos actions are going tip the community over the edge. Their consoles are underpowered and badly constructed (hello inevitable stick drift, needlessly expensive repairs); they charge for an online service that would be laughably bad 15 years ago let alone now; their output quality has been spotty at best (hello awful Pokemon games on the Switch); they fail to provide a decent catalog of games on the virtual console and then go after emulators, even though the people using the emulators are the majority of the market for the virtual console titles...
Honestly, I don't think Ninty realises just how few chips it has left. Yes, there's always a new younger generation coming up that they can target with their kid-friendly facade, but the parents of those kids will likely have seen Nintys actions and prefer to avoid them. Imagine being actively at war with the very fanbase that has arguably kept your company relevant for the last decade. The fact that instead of pulling their finger out of their arse and building a decent virtual console system / hardware - which would ultimately mean more money coming in - they would rather sue / shut down whole chunks of the community at extreme cost to themselves by way of legal fees and PR backlash, says a lot about the internal state of the company and the direction they're heading in.
I wonder how much of Nintys present actions are being dictated by stock owners - like Microsoft.
Those Ninty stock muppets should really think about selling up.
we gamers have a secret weapon against dmca happy nintendo, BOYCOTT!!! don't buy nintendo products!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Antivirus? In 2024? Common sense would do just fine if you've been around for a while on internet.
Common sense is the rarest thing nowadays. Stupidity is the second most common thing after hydrogen. Most people will fall for $10 latest iPhone or NSFW Picture00001.jpg..........exe. They did it when fast internet was 14400bps modem and they do it even more often now.
This guy and his con tar versies. R goes before A there superchief.
Dunno if its just my accent or not. Sorry!
Yoo😊
It's really sad when the concept of being uncertain of buying a physical product pushes you to by the digital one instead. Let that sink in for a second.
Not trying to dickride Nintendo, but I'm sure they'll fix things with their affected NSO games. I remember how horrid it was on launch, even trying to play Ocarina of Time. They fixed up their emulator a ton and it's one of my favorite ways to play these games now. Hopefully Perfect Dark gets the same fixes.
NSO sucks of all time
They can't even add proper set of CRT filters and get rid of the bugs and slowdowns that don't exist in open source emulators on freaking Pentium III 733 with 256Mb of RAM. Or a GameCube. Some people say that Switch hardware is weak. It's not that weak. It's more than enough to emulate hardware up to Dreamcast and about 70% of PS2 library. For everything on NSO it's a huge overkill.
I imagine new zelda game bmwith princess Zelda
If Nintendo name that as legend of link than that would be known as LOL 😂😂😂
Hi
مشترك جديد ❤👍
If everyone sold their switch and started emulating, Nintendo would eventually listen
Nintendo fans are more spineless than cod fans, so unfortunately that won't happen.
Modding them you get native performance of digital free switch titles tho. So that's better than emulation.
I love that the Perfect Dark fans are keeping Nintendo honest like the Zelda fans did Ocarina of time when it came to NSO. :D
Whoever banned Kaspersky should be fired for suspended our freedom of speech rights. The United States is no longer a freedom of speech country because of this. Kaspersky is innocent it must not be banned in the USA.
It's because he is Russian. So it's discrimination
Ha, you think the US still cares about things like “rights” and “freedom of speech”
