    The vacuum that broke me from uprights! Nice small improvements over the larger but older D4 too

    I think Sebo is one of the best, if not the best vacuum brands that are still around and this sounds like an excellent Sebo power team. Any time I'm asked for a vacuum suggestion, Sebo is the first brand I suggest.

    Finally a video to show how/where to assemble the attachments...I thought. The one issue I had was how and where to attach the clip on dust brush. Since your camera was not aimed correctly, when you said it clips on like that....it still didn't show me how to clip it on

    BTW, Sebo just added a switch to its hose handle to switch the ET-1 powerhead on and off. It was apparently introduced in Australia but is now (so Sebo told me) being shipped to USA dealers.

    I have this vacuum and absolutely love it. I also have a Sirena with a Wessel Werk ebk 360, but the Sebo is my go to.

    I like the way these look. They are so compact, they would be perfect for my house. I'm surprised that It came with the older style remote control. In my country, they usually advertise these with the remote that you can see on the D4 and I don't really like that one.

    Thanks for the video. I am considering buying either the E3 or D4. I have watched your E3 and D4 reviews and I think your suction test shows the D4 having better suction numbers. I'm not sure if I'm correct but don't the E3 and D4 have the same motor and does the D4 have better suction? Thanks again!

    I was fortunate to find one of these sealed new in the box in white being sold on Marketplace for $100 one late evening. Instantly hopped on it and so far has been my favorite machine lately.
    I believe I have the latest revision. The hose is still tapered, but the power nozzle on/off switch is by the speed control on the handle as opposed to the shut off foot button on the power head. Which I like better so you’re not stomping on the glossy finish to shut the powerhead on/off. Also the little power wire dongle under the handle is eliminated on mine and is built right into the handle.

    how do you attach the brush? the video is cut off at the top where you were demonstrating putting it on, seems tight on mine im afraid im going to break something if i try to force it

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  Před 4 měsíci +1

      It's extremely tight and you need to snap it on with quite a bit of force.

    New owner quick question: for hardwood floor, would you recommend power head with roller off, or hard floor tool? Thanks! Oh, and I have the hard floor tool that came with my Felix...will it work with the E3? ...any advantage in doing that? Thanks again!

    • @PerformanceReviews

      All of those will work well. Maneuverability and ease of use wise a 7200GS would be recommended.

    • @PerformanceReviews

      I would guess not if you bought it from a third party. But if you need to use that warranty I would contact SEBO directly and find out.

    How do you know if a vacuum isint working on a high pile carpet? I wouldn’t even know

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  Před 2 lety +3

      On extra high pile carpet this machine will shut off or become extremely hard to push. So it's not a matter of whether it's working it's a matter of whether or not you can use it. Hopefully that explains my statement in this video.

    How does this compare to a riccar 8955 in terms of filtering (cloth bag), carpet agitation and suction?

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  Před 2 lety +4

      I don't think there'd be much comparison.
      This SEBO doesn't need constant belt changes and has sealed filtration on the exhaust. The vacuum bags are of higher filtration and definitely leak around the edges like the old cardboard style that Riccar uses. Being a canister it of course out classes in maneuverability instantly.
      In terms of actual carpet pickup this will stay consistent for its whole life and has a little bit more power than your Riccar
