The combination of the end credits footage and music is the greatest ending scene to any documentary i've ever seen. The music is both euphoric and sad at the same time, and the angle of the footage is incredible. It's a very personal shot, but still gives you the sense of the incredible speed from the city warping by in the background, and the reflection of all the buildings off his visor in the middleground. Truly a cinematic masterpiece. I was only a young kid when Michael was in his Ferrari years, but man does this documentary make me wish I were watching.
I also said the same thing. And, I've seen great documentaries about Ali, Pele, Messi, Tyson, Phelps, etc. This one just touched me differently. I don't look anything like Schumi at all but he touched me in so many ways. ..."he's gonna be there, when you come out...it's looking good, you're looking good, it's looking good, just keep it on the road!.. fantastic"! Omg!!
I agree.I was spellbound watching the Monaco circuit with him in his car racing along to Michael's theme in the last few minutes. It is a fantastic tribute to a once great World Champion. The angle of the footage is truly incredible.
Watching those scenes in Japan hit so much harder now. Extremely emotional to watch now Michael isn't in the public eye. He is and always will be my favourite driver. Flawed yes, but a genius all the same. He was the standard Bearer of the sport and set the standards that the likes of Hamilton, Vettel, Alonso and Verstappen never dip below. But Michael was the one who made it possible. Forza Schumi. Come on champ! Never stop fighting. There's still a Grand Prix for you to win. Legends never die. ❤️
Yeah, Shane. The music + footages + voices of commentators, all together it gives me goosebumps everytimes watching. I hope and wish that Michael will win his last race. He deserves it.
Christian Wilkens did an outstanding job scoring it. I only wish we would have gotten a 4th version of the theme's melody that was a bit more slow/passive and in a different key. Love it when composers do that.
This video gives me goosebumps every time watching it. The music, the comments, the narrator, everything. He's my idol when i was a teenage, now i'm 43 years old and still love him. Fact, i have never watched F1 again after his retirement. For me, it's like he's F1, and when he left, F1 is gone
Best pure talented driver I've seen behind the wheel of a motorsport car... by far. What he did with Benetton and then Ferrari... I'm happy to have been able to watch his career.
8:39 The most moving end to a documentary I've ever seen. I'll freely admit to tearing up, as he sped through Monaco; this was Michael where he was the happiest . Michael, you've got one more race to finish - You can do it! 😎
What this man has achieved in his life is absolutely amazing. He really lived a full life, and is an inspiration. It shows us what we are really capable of achieving in life. Not just in racing, but whatever you choose to do, whatever your passion is, go all out and have the balls to do what you love, regardless of what people tell you. Don't be NORMAL like everyone else, be PHENOMENAL. Reach for the stars and don't look back.
How much did MS and RB mean to each other? In his highest moment where he could’ve said so many things, the only words that came out were “You’re great Ross!” I watched a few more seasons after Michael left, Raikonen, Hamilton and Vettel leading the pack but always missed the pizzazz that Michael brought to Formula 1. His last two seasons with Ferrari where Alonso won two consecutive titles, Ferrari had a slower car by a mile but the only reason they were still competing was because of sheer pace of Michael. He was the epitome of commitment and brilliance in racing history. No stats can blur what he did for the sports and for Ferrari in particular by letting go at least one if not two more titles with Benetton to switch to the prancing horse. His two years of collaboration with Mercedes paved the way for development of a team, work culture and car that brought them a lot of success. A legend! Keep fighting.
I´ve just watched the documentary and I tear up a little with the onboard shot of his helmet, it's so unfair that he had to end up like that, Forza Schumi and Forza Ferrari

When I think that in 2000, it had been more than 20 years since a Ferrari driver had been world champion. With all this joy, fervor and emotion, I can't even imagine the next time Ferrari wins a title, all F1 fans will cry with joy

Michael Schumacher driving for Ferrari makes you feel emotional every time you see the footage.

Es gab zu dieser Zeit nichts besseres als Sonntags aufzustehen und mit unserem Schumi mit zu Fiebern! Ein ganz besondere Zeit war das .

Top lad. I came into F1 with Schumacher and left F1 with Schumacher.

Anyone can race for Ferrari. But only the Red Baron and his team could turn Ferrari into a dominant force, the likes of which will become folklore.
Keep fighting Michael and Corinna and all family! You gave us so much emotions and memories I will have forever with my mum and my brothers and me.
An outstanding man ❤
Agree
Leggenda❤️
Murray Walker and Michael Schumacher just the iconic heroes of the history of Formula 1
At 8:42 I'm sure everyone would have got goosebumps and a bit of tear /moisture in their eye while watching this. The BGM also. 😔.
