Arcsys puts so much effort even into obscure titles. Imagine One Piece made in GG-style graphics using Fighterz mechanics. I'd pre-order that in a heartbeat.
A good One Piece or Naruto fighting game made by Arc Sys would be the sickest shit ever.

It's lore related, but yes it sounds silly as fuck and also doubles as an edgy double meaning for Level.
The story is the characters are fated to do certain things over and over again by Fate (The Wheel of Fate is turning), and they must REBEL against that Fate in order to change things.
Yeah it's corny but it also makes sense in the lore.

I feel like Skull Girls is underrepresented. There are like dozens of round start phrases and multiple voices to choose from. I guess Soul Caliber would be the same since there's a poem for each level(?) I guess.
It also has references to BB and GG round intros.
Yeah, soul calibur has a different phrase for every stage (that I skip over)

I've gotten so used to GG's flashy, over the top intros that the lack of dramatic camera movements and heavy rock music in some of the others just looks like low effort lol

As someone who came from KOF and Tekken, Guilty gear's intros are quite overwhelming.
Tbh I never really understood the joke about the intros, they all looked normal but flashy, never making me go "lmao, I can't believe they just said that!"
But maybe it's just because I've only played dbfz, guilty gear and blazblue.

But that might be because my only experience with arcsys comes from Blazblue and guilty gear.

I fail to see how "The Wheel of Fate is Turning! Rebel 1...Action!" is any more ridiculous than "You can't give it up! Go for it, man!".

Soul Calibur intros are my favorite.
GG has always been the most badass intro for me personally. Arcsys in general is just my favorite company for fighting games as of now.
Although instead of using Mcvi, it would have been so much better to use Umvc3 tbh. Love the intro in that one!

In Cross Tag Battle, depending on the characters you team up, they sometimes have special interactions. For example: Ragna/Jin having another brotherly moment, Azrael and Waldstein competing for a prey to hunt, Yosuke not getting any respect, Naoto calling Merkava "Merkava-san", Ruby hyping over the weapons of her teammates, etc. They're so funny, I love that detail.
Also, In Injustice 2 and Moral Kombat X, the battle intros are surprisingly well detailes, altghough some characters have repeated quotes, giving place to some bizarre combinations of dialogue.

Uniclr made me fall in love with game the music fits so well and the stages are nice and nostalgic

One is missing here. The ArcSys' Hokuto no Ken PS2 game. It had a great one: "The Time of Retribution... Decide the destiny!" So cool.
There's also really good in either Soul Calibur II or III. "Fight like the god of war himself!".

The point of the intro is to hype the incoming fight in-game, take for example the anime fighting games. And you'll see how bleak smash is in comparison.
