Hahahaha

Bahaha
Caterpillars, two caterpillars.
LMAO. Wonderful song, great musician.
The sound in Howard's studio is better than most recording studios
CZcams Svengali seriously ! Sometimes when I’m listening live, I forget it’s live and on the radio! Lol
Indeed! It's incredible quality in all of these videos. I hope he keeps them coming!
CZcams Svengali all thanks to Baba Booey! He’s an audiophile
maybe Scotts really good at his job haha
Yeah, great sound!
His voice was fucking insane here
He looks like a polish computer scientist that lives in Germany.
That's because of the git commit history pattern shirt
Libelldrian wtf lol
Yeah but he buys his shirts in Bukarest.
How is this so incredibly specific yet so incredibly accurate
lmao
The 90s, man. The 90s.
Brings back memories of my time as a kid, with no worries and responsibilities.
mattalgrand kíds can learn musical from that era 💯 pct. Rocker and how to perform live without lip syncing or no backing track! shit half a rock and roll band used backing tracks these days that's ludicrous. no rockbands did that back in the 90s. millennials can't stand if they're not dead perfect sounding but you don't realize makes them look like damn fools! and also that fans don't call him out on it how to get away with it and keep doing!
fuck 90-ies compared to 60-ies, con ;)
im born in the wrong era.
Yes !!!
Noel’s voice was on point here
Niall Doherty - Haze always
Yeah what was The point of Liam?
Incredible performance
Damn his voice is way better than liams here
When isn't it?
imagine how does it feel to write a song like this one
Mate it’s a brilliant feeling
"Imagine" lol.
@@5urg3xthis is a better song than imagine
@@sharkmanyt4431 nice
@@sharkmanyt4431 nvm just re-listened to imagine.
This isn't a song. It's an anthem.
it's part of the fabric of the UK.
It really is.
Argentinas. I saw that concert..
If someone sings a THREE MINUTE song that makes you lose track of time, that’s art.
Well said
You got that right Erika, especially when you listen to it about 8 times in a row...or 9?
So, if I spent three minutes drifting in and out of common time while chanting random numbers…that’s ART?
3 minutes isn't long at all though
@@davidrishtakov1 Absolutely amazing how a massive song starts from the very soul.
Noel can really rock an acoustic
With a mug like that he kind of has to
Generally find acoustics somewhat boring compared to electrics but Noel brings so much energy to it
Anyone notice he played a diff chord progression from the song to open, rather than the Imagine chords he usually always strummed?
Anyone who plays good guitar can tho, it’s the first thing we learn
He writte all of his songs in acoustic
His voice is sensational here, and he hasn't even declined with age. He can hit some brilliant notes now. He won't class himself as a great singer or guitarist, but I think he's pretty underrated.
He's a much better singer now than he was back then.
@@colinjames5643 clip is from 1997.....
Lol, that phrase is used entirely too much. How can you say Noel Gallagher is underrated? Smh

Ohh!!! Cartoon Network was so dope!
Man.... this is like studio quality. Howard got some damn expensive mics and a good mixer, whoever is mixing this is deserves a raise!
Not much to mix, Noel just nailed it 😂
I've lost count how many times I have watched this.
Damn he's got a great voice
RitaPortugirl♥ ... really! Jesus!

uh yeah thats why hes in a world famous rock band lmfao
@@jamesfitzgerald6636 I think the point is that he doesn't sing many Oasis songs. This is one of the very few and someone would say he's a better singer than Liam - less destinctive I suppose though.
WetDroiD Edition shut up u fuckin weirdo
All Oasis does tho is look back in anger
Lol especially noel and he wrote the song
And forwards....
Well they did 7 albums and over 30 singles with enough bsides to make another 3 albums , if you only know don't look back in anger then there's plenty to go and listen to . Noel's done 4 albums by himself as high flying birds and Liam's on his second solo album .

Noel in his prime was the greatest stand alone lad with a guitar in hand. I’d rather see him in concert just by himself no band just him and his guitar. My favorite musician in the whole 🌎.
Stu Sadler never said that. I said stand alone.
Greatest? No, but great

“Gonna start a revolution from my bed”. Another Beatleism. I love how Oasis channel the Beatles
*copy
Good call Oz, missed it the first time around.
Doesn't the song start out like Imagine? Or is that another one?
Plagiarism. But, yes.
True. The song was originally written in protest to Lee Mavers of The La's to get him back making music.
I love this song. Noel is one of the best songwriters of his generation.
Haramdulilah!!
Of all time!
God damn his voice and sound quality is absolute perfection.

Oscar Wilde.
This performance is a special moment in history.
One of the best songs ever written
Oasis in their prime were amazing. Miss the 90s. 😢
Definitely Maybe is one of my favorite albums of all time. One of the best debut albums ever.
Noel, Liam, Oasis in their prime were the best. Their first two albums are classics. Can’t say the same though for their stateside concerts. Liam was often too drunk to sing and he’d pick fights, ruin the show. Still legendary.
Haha 😆 that was all part of the fun tho. They were real rock stars pissed on stage haha I wouldn’t have it any other way
pm2020 _ yank crowds were shit, in England there gigs made them who they were
He hasn't really changed TBH.
Name some gigs Liam ruined, beside 2nd night at Wembley.
Go on lad. I'll wait.
I saw Oasis 4X open for the Black Crowes on the "Brotherly Love" tour in the US.
Not only did they behave, they were fantastic, and Noel was the engine that made that band go, he was really impressive live.
I swear, The Howard Stern Show has the best live performances.
His voice was fantastic here.
This song is sounds great acoustic..
He done an amazing job..

I think in 2020 you need it more
Noel is such a gifted songwriter!!
But not a gifted singer. Needs Liam.
He sounded great here
@@matthewphilip1977I think he is also good at singing!
@@matthewphilip1977 Noel sang this one on the album, I don't think it needs Liam, but I do think they should get back together.
This is the best Oasis song. Songs like Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova are great but this...this is excellence.
Stand by Me
Jesus this was remarkable, I mean truly genius writing and performing. I miss music 😢
And yet Noel said he don't know who "Sally" is and that the lyrics doesn't mean anything! ;D Just made up lines without substance, ha!
Uhh ... Music never died. Look for it it's out there. The good shit
Try Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds. They've been around for years and are my favourite band. Nick's songwriting is genius and the band is nothing short of brilliant. They really put effort into their music and have another album on the way.
DaP84 Stairway to Heaven has no meaning either. Doesn’t make it bad or lacking in substance. You make your own meaning.

His shirt looks like my kitchen backsplash.
You got cool backsplash ;)
It was a 90's thing... I had a few short sleeved patterned shirt.. Lad culture and all that.. lol

Don't you know you might find
A better place to play
You said that you'd never been
But all the things that you've seen
Will slowly fade away
So I start a revolution from my bed
'Cause you said the brains I had went to my head.
Step outside, summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
You ain't ever gonna burn my heart out
And so Sally can wait, she knows it's too late as we're walking on by
Her soul slides away, but don't look back in anger I heard you say
Take me to the place where you go
Where nobody knows if it's night or day
But please don't put your life in the hands
Of a Rock n Roll band
Who'll throw it all away
I'm gonna start a revolution from my bed
'Cause you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside 'cause summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace

artists like noel are so talented that they can make the boring chord pattern not sound like a guitar tutorial
The vocal makes all the difference. You dont have to be a good guitarist if you can sing well.!
Not to mention the actual guitar
@@prebengjestang4636 ye the vocal melody is what makes this terrific
It's the song you put on top of the chord pattern that makes it classic though.
F- Fmin- C. chord sequence is used in Space Oddity by Bowie.@@nellsun2521
Why almost no artists today can’t sing like this on point? I miss the 90’s era. With all Oasis, RHCP, Savage Garden and other like such were all over the radio.
I think you're exaggerating a pretty middle of the road vocal a bit too much. There are plenty of singers today who can pull it off live just as well if not better. The main problem we have today is the influx of forgettable mainstream trash which is flooding the charts.
Man, just man. This album: Champagne Supernova, Dont look back in anger, Wonderwall all on the same record. Holy hell. 1990s 🤘🏻
I’m happy that I exist to listen to this

people may mock the 90s, but man o man, it's hard to find a better musical era.
70s. There.
VeggyVerse word bro.
The 80's spilled into the 90's up to about '95...then...mainstream music started to die...or move underground..here in 2020, so much great music around but not in the mainstream.
Its impossible. Across the board genre-wise it MURDERS the 70's. 70's wins in rock genre only
60's for sure
Wow ive had chest pain from anxiety for 6 days straight ive been to the hospital for it and this is the only relief ive found
how are you these days? I have the same issue
I'm a lifelong Oasis fan and have heard acoustic, live, versions of this song over one thousand times and this one sounds the best. Noel's voice is incredible and the sound in the studio sounds like Abbey Road.
This guy is the real deal
This was my favorite song as a kid. And in my mid thirties I'm going thru so philosophical changes and now I really get this song
The F to Fm and the Am to E7 are beautiful chord progressions
Here he goes C to e7, then Am to standard E
I hope u guys have Noel back on the show. He’s a great interview!
If someone sings a THREE MINUTE song that makes you lose track of time, that’s art.

Tbh I got so tired of this song by listening to It on the radio that I wasnt aware of how great It is. Listening this acoustic version has opened my eyes. How much passion. Beautiful.
Noel knocked it out of the park. His voice was spot on that day. Wow.
1997... Noel's voice blew me away..
That's why I started to play guitar.
The acoustics in-studio are incredible!
They just added reverb...
God I want to be back in the 90s right now. Best times of my life as I sit here sat on my tod drinking wine looking at tinder. Had a Nokia then, pulled birds in a bar getting a scrap bit of paper from the barman to get a number, used the pay phone the next day to phone, glow sticks, kangol caps, bootcut jeans. Fun fact went out with bonehead on night out in weston super mare......got smashed and was late for work. Boss let me off when showed him pic off my phone in ths 2000' s

The 90s, man. The 90s.
Holy shit why i was too little in the 90s to listen to this amazing music

Have you heard Elliott Smith my friend ?
Its new strings and a very nice, resonant guitar. He's just strumming.
