Noel’s voice has a certain sweetness in this song

Absolutely. Usually it’s more about the guitar and background music in this song for me but here I was more focused on his voice. It was mesmerizing.

I used to be a big fan of the band, but I can't listen to their music anymore. It really is mediocre and repetitive.

@@aarondx3764 that's debatable. there was more internal participation Heathen Chemistry onwards. the hype was long gone but the songs were as good, and the songwriting wasn't just Noel's. the last 3 albums have really good songs that one can play on repeat without getting fed up, contrary to what some other people in these comments say about oasis being repetitive and mediocre.
Oasis made some of the greatest songs ever.. they're music will live forever.
Oasis got albums platinum in almost every country, including there first 3 albums platinum in the US and sold out arenas in the US too, as well as worldwide, they have a big influence on a lot of artists today, WTSMG is one of the best selling albums of all time, wonderwall is one of the biggest songs of all time, they’ve held one of the biggest concerts of all time. That sound that Howard Stern has had in all of his studios has always been impeccable. Love these old solo Noel performances from the mid 90s. Did anyone else hear the drums kick in when Noel started the second verse?

That sound man... That's the reason I wanted to buy an acoustic guitar in the first place.
One of the many great songs of the 90's=the greatest decade for music.
I actually like this version. I think knowing that this is the person who really wrote it and is connected to it in that way adds another level of depth to it that can not be hindered by it not sounding exactly like the “original”. This guy wrote the song, however he sings it is the original way.

People moan about Noel lyrics but sometimes music is about feeling. This is a perfect pop song, catchy as hell great melody and very easy to sing along in your own head.
