- There is a video about interracial Muslim marriages in Islam and how when Muslim youth want to marry of a different race parents can cause difficulties. Video is about the two perspectives from the viewpoint of the young people who want to get married and the parents. Do they need a wali's permission or approval to get married in Islam?

There is the issue that you cannot travel to each other’s land of origin nowadays. I have that situation. My wife is Indian and I am Pakistani, although my parents came from the same part of India where my wife is from, but left when they were children during the partition.
Pakistani Muslim??
Did I hear that right? Its reasonable to reject a suitor if they are of a different ethnicity?
No bro. He's saying parents have a right to give their opinion and put reasonable conditions
Parents can't reject, by saying that this guy aint perfect for my daughter or son etc
Parents can prefer someone of the same ethnicity due to cultural compatibility.
@@Ahmed-ob6ec they can prefer, but that’s not fatwa.
it's a Wrap if Yasir Qadhi is Muslim Pakistani & his wife is Muslim Indian. It's how that young couple tackled that issue that is mishap.... They should have kept on meeting with the Local Imam to find someone within the Family or Elder of the community, someone ANYONE of Muslim centric background as Wali.
