What do you do when you the encourager? And the people that I do deal with Are from my path? But even at my age, I realize I need to meet people out going. Like me optimistic That can sharpen my iron. What the word say iron sharpens iron? I don't have that in my life.
I do not agree with this. It’s almost like they’re saying “oh, well I have 4 really close friends already, I can’t be close friends with you sorry.” That’s just weird to me. If you’re treating friendship like a number system or like it’s some formula, then you probably need to learn how to be a friend. You don’t have to be everyone’s best friend, but you can be friends with people. Good grief. Us Christians have an answer & a certain way of things for everything. Just sooo many rules for everything. Geez. 🙄 I’m an enneagram 9w8 & I see this & think okay this really doesn’t make sense. There is a difference between having boundaries & then just being closed off. We teach this to the church & all it does is encourage cliches. This type of rhetoric needs to DIE. It needs to die. Lisa Harper is coming from a place of distrust. Those things needs to be payed attention to.
