Ruth you are a true blessing , your words of encouragement , reminding me to soak and marinate our lives with the word of God. And conversing with ourselves and reflecting on what we are marinating ourselves, jealousy, comparison, sadness, discouragement etc !! this will not take us any where, thanks for reminding us to reflect on our lives and go back to the word of God. I needed this so bad today. I am so discouraged about so many things. And I felt like God was ignoring me. No peace. No joy. No answers. And when I was driving today, I actually thought about David and how he lamented, and cried, and thought all was lost.....and then remembered the Lord and said why are you downcast Oh my soul? Thank you so much for this teaching!!! I just recently found you and I'm so hooked!!
What a refreshingly genuine approach to joy!.....can I just say... you reveal my heart's shortcomings and turn them into cries for grace and truth! I have never found another author/artist who can articulate like you Ruth! I am your biggest fan, your artwork is amazing and your ability to share the word in your writings and illustrations reminds me to " be still and know" God's majesty Sometimes your work washes over me....and I am filled with the presence of God. HIs hands are guiding you all the way. Thank you for bringing light and clarity to me not just today but every time you are used by the Lord.
