- The Citroen Berlingo, this 3rd gen LAV or leisure activity vehicle comes with a range of engines and offers you upto 4000 litres of space with seats folded down, depending on which model you choose.
We tested the 1.5 diesel 101ps M in the Feel trim, a great vehicle, hard plastics yet well teched up, which you can spec up as you see fit, everything from a panoramic roof through to active cruise control.
All this for just over £20,000.00

About to have one of these with work- the best review I’ve seen. Thank you
Thank you, Neil - glad you liked the review. 👍
Had a Berlingo since 2004, just about to buy a new one tomorrow hence watching this review (which by the way was excellent). We cycle, camp, have a dog, a child, drive to Europe with the camping gear, marshal long distance running events, I don't think we'll ever swap to a different car, it suits us down the ground. Going for the Flair as we've been spoilt having the XTR previously!!
Now that’s brand loyalty for a reason, thank you for your kind words, the new one is a great all rounder and we love the looks.
Another great video guys. One friend had the original one years back. He was a tAll man like you, but he was very wide. He found it more comfortable than his shoguns and loved the lower tax prices. My other friend had the previous one for her disability car. So it very practical. I expect she will get this soon :)
mattsbeamer it’s amazing the options you can get for this, great for mobility and people wanting the practicality of a Van, thank you
Planet Auto it’s also certainly much better looking :)
it looks very inkeeping with the new breed of Citroens, very smart, thank you.
If you don't fancy pop out rear windows, choose the Flair and you'll get Electric rear windows as well as some other bits.
If you get the Flair model you get the rest electric windows not pop out ones and you can get front armrests and opening rear tailgate window for tight spaces. As an old Berlingo driver this version takes it to the next level.
Thank you, we''ll add that to the pinned comment, its amazing how far the Belingo has come, a great vehicle.
Waiting for this review...the first englishspeaking rev...Very good review too..subbed..
Thank you for subscribing, glad you enjoyed the review, it’s a great vehicle.
Have the last version of 2 seat'ers 2008 before it was a 3seater..:) Great car to drive,to have my dogs in on a tour..but it has issues with the Turbo....so i am a little Berlingofan :)
Thor Fornes that’s interesting to know about the Turbo, we think this one looks superb
Excellent review guys , I'm looking for a used example in the next few months if any are available
Thank you Jeremy, keep scouring the net etc, keep us posted on if you find one.
The Mk3 Berlingo is a very posh and funky MPV like its PSA Group sibling, the Peugeot Rifter.
Absolutely plenty of funky wheels and options to choose from. We have also done a review of the Rifter: czcams.com/video/DHkc4KNUmZY/video.html
Good review. More good quality pictures and comments on dashboard and infotainment would make it Very Good review,
Thank you
Great review also the car would be ok for me with help from a hoist to get my electric wheelchair in without braking any of it down
nigel bath thank you, that’s great to hear, keep us posted.
@@PlanetautoUK Absolutely right ! also you have to put shopping on back seats if wheelchair is in the boot , so sliding doors are great !! shame motability downpayments are so much for diesels now .
What about Vauxhall Combo Life XL?
We’ll look into that *ben
Nice
Great design language Bellini, thank you
Any idea how tall yerman is?
6.3 we’re thinking if you mean the guy who talks about the interior 😃
5ft 4"
Berlingo actually appeared in 1996 not 2008
Yes it did, the 2nd Gen launched 2008, we knew that as far as the van just not the LAV. Thank you
20,000 pounds thats 35,250 dollars over here
Does anyone lift the bonnet anymore ??? engine seems just an embarrasment these days ..............almost an afterthought .
Yes, we missed the engine bay on this one - typically, it is the only one we have missed! Check out our other reviews, where we do lift the bonnet...
The petrol and diesel engines are proving unreliable with belt/chain issues. I have a mk1 and would love one of these but…. £££ in maintenance/repair
Oh nightmare, any milage marker or just when it happens?
I believe but not sure that they changed the belt supplier in 2020. Before that no mileage indicator but sometimes neglect, the usage of the wrong oil and failure of the belts composition. Such a shame as beautiful vehicles imo
@volt8684 oh, thank you for the heads up Volt
