  • Hello guys, and welcome back to Car Obsession. Apologies for the late upload; I've spent a large chunk of my weekend clearing out a flat, which was far from fun, let me tell you!
Anyway, on to the video. Recently I tested the new Citroen Berlingo and I had a bit of a problem when editing the review. The video as it was, was about half an hour long - it may have actually been a bit longer, in fact - so I thought I would do things a little differently and break the review up in to two parts.
This part is all about the interior/practicality, so in this video I give you an in-depth look at the interior practicality and storage solutions, of which there are plenty! There will of course be a driving review, that will come in few days.
In case you are wondering, the car seen in this video is the range-topping Flair model, which starts from £21,940, but the model tested has a few options, so the one you see here is actually £24,335

Not the longest but by far the best presentation video. It's like I'm there. Finally someone who presents what he sees of the car, not spreadsheets :)

I've got one on order. The boot fits lots of dogs! I like the squareness of it because it gives the dogs maximum space for travelling and sitting/lying in when I'm parked at a dog show. What annoys me though, is the way they say in the brochure that the seats fold completely flat when they clearly don't, and have a bit of a sloping surface when folded. Not a problem if you're just putting shopping etc on it, but put a dog cage on it and you somehow need to level it up. I would have liked to see a separate review of the stereo system.

Hello Sharon, thanks for watching, and thanks for the feedback. I was thinking about making a video about the infotainment system, but I did one on another Citroen a few months ago and seeing as it's bound to be virtually the same system, it didn't seem worth the time. Speakers are a little tricky as it's difficult to demonstrate that on video because the sound heard to the viewer may not be a fair representative, plus you have the copyright issues to get around.

Are the front seats heated ? Or is it an option ? Great practical car, be good for my dogs.

Hello David, thanks so much for watching. The front seats aren't heated, and I don't believe it's an option.

@xennex It's interesting how cars can vary from market to market. In the UK the Berlingo only has two trim levels, Feel and Flair. Thanks for watching.

@@CarObsession In Germany it is an option as well, not part of any package.

I really like Citroen for comfort as I own a grand c4 Picasso, but I do a lot of waiting for my partner at hospitals and I had to buy a portable dab radio to listen to because with Citroen the electrics turn off 5 mins after the engine is switched off and even putting the ignition on doesn’t help.

PSA needs to offer this as an EV; there seems to be enough space under the floor for a battery pack. Perhaps they could use a similar motor and battery pack as in the eCorsa (100 kW, 50 kWh, 205 mile range).
