MEEEE. I discovered Burr about 6 months ago (yeah I'm not hip and up to date) and realized that here was the replacement for Carlin and was suddenly relieved.

I think the most admirable thing about Burr isn’t the fact he freely speaks his mind, it’s that he can roll with an unreceptive audience and make them laugh anyway. The audience didn’t think his girls night out joke was funny, but instead of getting upset and/or walking it back he just made a joke out of the situation, got a laugh, and then moved on.
50% of the audience didn't find it funny. 50% did find it funny but were afraid to laugh because they wanted to get laid that night.

The problem is that every poster you see is for breast cancer, and all the walks for breast cancer and football players wearing pink. There's a thing in psychology called compartmentalizing. Men are better at doing this than women. It's basically when you can move from one thing to another and not have them interacting with each other. So men can have a bad day at work, and then go home and enjoy football whereas women wouldn't be able to do that as well. Bill talks about the simple male brain and that's exactly what he's talking about.

@G King it's the sentiment of the matter. She never said it ruined it. But to have a specific time and place for something that is meant to attract anybody, but stereotypically attracts a certain populus, and then having the exact opposite being set up exactly across from you, is quite frustrating. Like imagine going to a concert where this happened. You'd be outraged if you went to say a country concert, and just outside the crows is some punk blasting some trashy pop music, that you may still like, as loud as he can. It's not the sentiment of you like one more than the other, or one is more meant for you period. It's the fact that you went to an area where there was a designated thing or event supposed to be happening, and someone else came along, jealous of that event, and started doing something completely irrelevant to it.

I used to be with a girl who would always insist that playing video games was a waste of time and I should "do something useful". I work 9-10 hours a day making things, like actually designing and producing things for people, she worked 5 hour days and would come home and watch Netflix. Always trying to force me to work, while never actually doing anything herself, no hobbies, no friends, but I HAD TO DO SOMETHING USEFUL. Then she left me for an unemployed yoga instructor, but yea, men are the problem.
