Draco was always all bark and no bite. His mom Narcissa knew that and so did Voldemort. Voldemort deliberately ordered him to kill Dumbledore knowing he would fail, thereby giving him an excuse to kill him as a way of punishing Lucius for all the times he failed him. Which was why Narcissa begged for Snapes help in order to protect her only son from Voldemort’s wrath.
And I believe he entered the unbreakable vow with the knowledge we learn later. (I don't want to say too much yet.)
In the books you find out where Snapes title comes from. His mom’s maiden name was prince. His dad was a muggle and his mom was a witch. So he called himself half blood prince when he was in school.
Wow, I forgot about that.
Also, the Prince’s were pure bloods, so he was the only half blood in his entire family tree.
@@similarrose5811 Not true, the prince's aren't on the list of pure bloods.
@@ThomasA. the listing what you are referring to is it the list of the 13 main pureblood families? If it is then in the second book and movie when Ernie McMillan said he’s pure blood and he can trace it back through generations, then he can’t be 100% pure blood either because he’s not on that list.
@@meganhutcheson5867 It's called the list of 28 and the MacMillans are on there, look it up. 😅
The actress who played Luna Lovegood was one of the most perfect casting for the Harry Potter movies. She is exactly like the character is described in the novel. Right down to her airy and dreamy sounding voice and her big almost unblinking eyes. She's too good. Love that Ravenclaw.
🪄🦅💙🤎💙
Agree! That's the actresses real voice and it's perfect for the character!
She's my FAVORITE character! In the books and movies ! She literally helped harry SO much !
If memory serves, she IS Luna Lovegood. She had written to JK Rowling about how the books got her out of a deep depression and Rowling met with her. She decided to make the Luna character in the books, based on her. That is why she suddenly appears in this book/movie. Evana Lynch was an actress and was offered the part too. (I think)
100%! she was so spacey and "out there" and it was so fun! she nailed the feel of what i think luna would have been like. fantastic actress, absolutely nailed it!
Agreed! The only thing I wished had happened was she ended up with Neville and taught at Hogwarts!
This is the only time you ever see Draco with actual emotion. None of us are supposed to like him that's part of his character but you can see the anguish and torture he's going through because he does not want to kill Dumbledore. He is not the nicest boy obviously but he's not as evil as people think he is.
i love how radliffe, watson, and gumbert were all big friends of his all the way through filming but he was totally the bad kid. they all are still very close to this day
He showed emotion in part 1 of Deathly Hallows when he saved Harry by covering for him and told his parents and Bellatrix he couldn’t recognize him because of the stinging charm even though he knew exactly who all three of them were. He also knew they would call Voldemort and he would be murdered
I don't agree. I see him with emotions all the time.
You don't like the way Luna talks?! First time I've ever heard that one. She's literally perfect.
Dumbledore's death hits so much harder now. RIP Michael Gambon 😢

Prince is Snap's mothers maiden name. She was a witch. His father was a muggle.
he's a mud blood like Hermione Granger?
@@yannicnoah4948 No, not quite. "Mud bloods" have two muggle parents. Half bloods have a muggle and a magic parent, half-half.

Ron was only under a love potion with the romilda veine girl. Lavender brown the girl at the first right after the quidditch match was him just wanting to kiss a girl. In the book it explains that he was trying to get back at Hermione because of her dating Victor Krum in the fourth movie.
Also all those creatures that you call little smeagols. They were actually all the dead bodies of all the people he had killed in the past. And then he would put them there in that lake is kind of a undead bodyguards to the horcrux.

So after voldemort would kill anybody he would take their bodies and put the corpses in that water?
That’s crazy.
What was the liquid he was drinking like in the book?
That’s not just any wand, that’s Dumbledore’s wand. You’ll find out a lot about it in the Deathly Hallows but I don’t want to spoil anything for you.
yes, asia's wand is very special!
The most interesting thing about the Harry Potter series, at least to me, is that Rowling wrote the books for her children, which get progressively more darker and mature as they got older over the course of writing the whole series. The difference in tone between the first Harry Potter movie and the last is strikingly drastic. As an older movie goer, I thought the Harry Potter movies got better with each new movie, and I was always impressed with the magical universe that was built to accommodate these stories. Great reaction as usual Asia and BJ!
She wrote the books to be published, not for her children. She had one child, a daughter, when she plotted out the entire series -- one book for each typical year a student spent at Hogwarts (age 10/11 to 17/18 or so) -- adding details as the wrote each book. She intended the books to mature with the characters, I believe. When she woke the first book, she was a single mom on welfare (or whatever they call it in England).I believe she has since married again and had another child.
The actor playing Marcus Belby (the boy at Slughorn’s dinner party who was scarfing down his ice cream) was kiIIed shortly after filming. He was stabbed outside a bar while protecting his younger brother. He was a real hero.
💔
Bless his heart
He is a Hero

Yay! Back to Potterworld with my favorite pair on CZcams. I absolutely adore u guys SO MUCH. Hilarious & sweet, sassy & weird in the best way. 😘
by FAR the best react duo on youtube. these two are so much fun! love seeing my favorite films pop up on their watch list!
Every time I think y'all forgot about finishing this series you drop the next movie lmao
cant wait for them to finish pt 2 by summertime🔥
@@LUVST444R it's going to BLOW THEIR BRAIN HOLES!! such an awesome twist! i LOVED it
Lol me too 👵🏻👍🏻
My favorite one of the series . loved how this one is in Dark and Gritty mood
I agree. The Deathly Hallows are both good but the plot twists and setups in this movie are sooooo good.
There are certain things not mentioned in the film. Snape called himself the halfblood prince because his full name is "Severus Prince Snape". Her mother's maiden name was Eileen Prince. Prince in this context is surname instead of status.
In the book he wanted to use a name that is not his so he had the idea of halfblood prince. because he is a halfblood (mother is a witch and father is a muggle) and prince because her mother is the one magical one of her parents.
Snape wasn't immune to the spells, he's just that good at defense. That's why he's always applied for the 'defense against the dark arts' position. You see how Snape never fights back, though he can, he always just defends.
They NEED to watch Severus Snape and the Marauders!
When BJ said "switch". It brought back memories when my mom sent me and my brother out to pick our switches for our butt whooping. My brother was always able to make my mom laugh, so he came back in the house with a 2×4 as his switch. It made my mom laugh so hard she forgot about beating our butts..
In the novel there were more memoriy scenes:
-Voldemort family history
-Voldemort murdering his father
Voldemort murdered the heir of hogwarts founder helga huffelpuff and stoled her heirloom cup and slytherin locket
Voldemort trying to get a job at hogwarts but got denied
The most powerful wizard in the world, and the most humble. Never really uses magic and the few times he actually uses it, it’s epic and spectacular. Even though they went through two different actors for dumbledore, which both did great in my opinion, it was truly amazing seeing them actually bring this character from the pages to the screen within these series and do it correctly. You are invested in him, the mysteries around him, all the way to where he looks like a scared child in one moment to summoning Hurricane Fuego and part it like Moses, and then still knowing that this is the end for him still trying to help Draco be a good kid and not be bullied by others. He’s the headmaster we all want and the headmaster we deserve. The Deathly Hallows awaits, and I need to rewatch it because it’s been forever
as much as i do not like the author for moral reasons, her story telling is insanely good. the last segment of the story is both incredibly dark and fantastically beautiful at the same time. deathly hallows was amazing, and i LOVED the twist with one of the characters, and the realization it brought to others. wonderful!
@@ghomerhustWhat moral reasons out of curiosity? I know it sounds crazy but I’ve seen she is getting hate for saying women have periods
@@ghomerhustyou could have co.olimented her art and left it at that
One of my favorites of the series- minus the ending since we recently lost Michael Gambon in real life. 😢
RIP a legend of the screen, and a damn fine human all around

the word the waitress said is "tosser" pretty much = assh0le. Diagon Alley was modeled on a real street and neighborhood in York England called The Shambles
hah yeah i love how harry devalues himself and the waitress wants to know more about the devalued person. it's a rather coy response, and at that age/hormone level, pretty intriguing! i bet there's a lot of fanfiction about that waitress and harry!
24:00 Luna's the best. She is the kindest, least judgmental character.
I was on a train reading this book, and when i got to the part of Dumbledore dying, i was sobbing in public. One girl looked concerned until i showed her the cover of the book and she quickly said "please don't tell me, i haven't read it yet". The death in the book still makes me weep. Still.
RIP Michael Gambon /*
RIP a legend of acting and driving a crappy car on a BBC tv show. what a lovely human being!!
In the books Hermione reminds us a 100 times you can not teleport in or out of Hogwarts unless plot armor allows it
Dumbledore can do what Dumbledore wants...unless it's in the book where they have to go to Hogsmede to apparate lol. Tbh I kinda like how in the movie Dumbledore just says f it, I'm Dumbledore, "being me has it's privledges"
@@andrewlee8843 they don't teleport to hogsmeade, it's a hidden tunnel. no teleporting happens until later, and it's still only TO hogsmeade, where they sneak through hidden tunnels.
@@ghomerhust I never said they teleport to hogsmede. Read it again. I said they have to go to hogsmede in order to aparate because you can't aparate on Hogwarts grounds.
This is by far my favorite Harry Potter movie. Thanks as always for watching these! You two are a blessing in an otherwise bleak internet ❤❤
book and movie, half blood prince is the best. Kudos to JK Rowling.
Yeah this one has such great atmosphere and music.
Also my favorite movie of the series. Book was SOOO good.
This is my favorite film and book as well. I love the fact that they make you feel for Draco in such a short amount of time. It was played so masterfully by Tom Felton and the director played a huge role as well.
My favorite HP book
In quidditch, there are 4 possitions: Beaters, Chasers, the Keeper( same as a goalie) and the Seeker. Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy are both seekers.
The fun times are gone. Next two movies are “darker”. Keep your eyes and ears open, turn the subtitles on.
I binge-read the books in 2006 and this was by far my favourite. That twist with Snape being the Half-Blood Prince completely threw me for a loop.
Unfortunately I had to wait a full year for the final story to be released.
Before each movie that came out, I would binge read the all of the books leading to and including the book of the movie .
i love the even bigger twist for the ending! these two are in for a huge flip! im so excited!
In case y'all didn't know, a Half-Blood is someone born to a non magical(muggle) and magical parents...
half muggle, half magic.
@@ghomerhust right
A Half Blood is a witch/wizard that has any Muggle ancestry within 3 generations - not just a Muggle parent. If both your parents are magical but one of the four grandparents is Muggle then you are a Half Blood. If both of your parents & all four of your grandparents are magical but you have a great grandparent that’s a Muggle then you are a Half Blood.
That’s why most witches & wizards are considered Half Bloods.
@@learobinson4450 that's true... I forgot to mention that
you gotta figure out a unique movement when you cast a spell. the girl repeated harry, he called himself a "tosser"
So sad we lost Michael Gambon. 😢
And also with the loss of Hagrid..Robbie Coltrane. 😢
thanks for another great reaction, it was Olivander(wand maker...where you got your wand) that was taken in the beginning and that girl said that "tosser(useless) Harry Potter"
The unbreakable vow is basically a oath that one shall not break, similar to how Aragorn relieved the army of the dead of their oath to his ancestors Isildur in The Lord Of The Rings.
And now the story really begins..."Always"
Had me laughing to tears when BJ said "it's not a switch" lol. I still remember seeing this in theaters and everyone was crying at the end even though most of us had read the books by then. ORDER OF THE PHOENIX was a bit of a let down, this picked up the fumble. Can't wait for the next films.
I hear many people like OOP😳😳
The wand you owned is Prof. Dumbledores one. 🙂 You will see in the last movie.
a wand of VERY special significance. VERY VERY.
Drako has a much better mom than dad
Background : The Blacks are one of the oldest pureblood families. They tend to be named after stars or constellations. Sirius Black is Harry's godfather and died in the last film; he had a brother Regulus who's apparently been dead for years. He also has three cousins that we know of - Bellatrix, Narcissa, and Andromeda.
Bellatrix married Rudolphus Lestrange and led the Deatheaters who tortured Neville's parents. She also killed Sirius during the fight at the Chamber of Mysteries.
Narcissa married Lucius Malfoy and is Draco's mother. It's Narcissa and Bellatrix who get Snape to make the Unbreakable vow.
Andromeda married a muggle named Ted Tonks, which led to her being disowned by the family. She's the mother of Nymphadora Tonks, who appeared in earlier films as an auror working with Moody - she's a metamorphmagus, which means she can change her appearance at will - a very rare ability.
"Dumbledore's Farewell", one of the greatest piece of music of all the saga. Thank you Nicholas Hooper
Quidditch has 7 players in each team.
2 Chasers
2 Beaters
1 Keeper
1 Seeker
The Chasers are in charge of scoring goals by catching the Quaffle balls and throwing them into one of 3 hoops at the other team's side of the field. Beater are in charge of protecting their players from getting hit by the Blugger balls with bat's. They are also in charge of hit the opposing team with the bluggers by using their bats. The Keeper's job is to protect their team's hoops by not allowing the opposing team to score any goals by blocking the Quaffle and preventing it from getting through their hoops.
The Seeker's job is to find the Snitch and catch it before the other team does. Once the Snitch is caught then the game ends.
You don't necessarily win when you catch the snitch. Yes, the snitch is 150 points and the game does end when the snitch is caught. But the team that catches the snitch can loose the game if the opposing team had already gained far more points prior to the snitch being caught. So it's important to score as many points as possible with the Quaffle and hoops before any seeker of any team catches the snitch causing the game to end.
BTW, did you know that people became such a massive fan of the fictional sport of Quidditch that college students made it into a real world international sport that are played in real colleges all over the world. Players play with broomstick between their legs and the snitch is a person dressed in gold with a handkerchief tucked into his or her's belt running around all over the place. The seeker has to catch the person playing as the snitch by grabbing onto the handkerchief and pulling it off the snitch's body. You can do a CZcams search and view a few matches played in different countries. I have seen 2 or 3 Quidditch matches in person back in the day. Tons of fun.
If you ever want to know how Quidditch is played and it's fictional history the author of Harry Potter, JK Rowling also wrote other books for charities. One of them is called Quidditch Through the Ages and it is written as if it were one of Harry Potter's text books.
🧹📚
The Dumbledore Funeral is beautiful in the book. I wish they would have included it
It’s infuriating that they didn’t include it. It was a tearjerker in the book and could’ve been amazing in the movie but instead they cut it and put in a scene of the Burrow burning down which never even happened in the book.
not bj with his wand at 6 min im crying lmfao i love ya"ll
Snapes mothers last name was Prince. One parent was a muggle the other had magic. That's why he called himself the half blood prince.
56:25: "So where did Draco go, y'all?". love it! Just gotta wait and see in the next few movies.
IMO draco has one of the most interesting lines through this story. he's obviously oppressed by his family lineage, but also has his own morals that are conflicting. i do like how it all plays out tho.
I recently figured out what Michael Gambon's inspiration for drinking that bottomless potion to find the horcrux... Colonoscopy Prep liquid.
That stuff is dynamite! You do not want to be more than 20' away from a toilet.
Thanks, Asia! Thanks, BJ! 🪄 David Yates did a great job of directing this.
Asia your description of the Quitich game was 😂 I am with you with the girl student possessed. " I am not touching or going near her😳 " Ron became under the 💕 spell because Ron ate the candy sent to Harry by the girl that Hermione told Harry wanted him to ask her to the dance because Harry is the chosen one.You are right each movie is darker & the last 2 are darker until the very end 😢
Voldemort didn’t expect that Draco would succeed in getting rid of Dumbledore. He gave Draco the task as punishment for Lucius Malfoys failures. The diary Horcrux was destroyed in Lucius’ plot to open the Chamber of Secrets, then he failed to retrieve the prophecy in the Department of Mysteries.
Voldemort was furious so decided to punish the Malfoys by giving Draco a job that he, Voldemort, thought the boy couldn’t do & then told the Malfoys that he would k!ll the boy when he failed.
Believing that Draco would not succeed Voldemort told Snape of the plan with the understanding that Snape would do it once Draco failed. That’s why Snape told Draco’s mother, Narcissa, that he was aware of her situation & agreed to make the Unbreakable Vow.
Every reactor I’ve seen is confused about the Horcruxes. Young Tom Riddle had already made one Horcrux, the ring he was wearing, when he asked Slughorn about them. He needed to know if it was safe to create another Horcrux so he asked Slughorn if it was possible to split the SOUL seven times, which means he was planning to create six Horcruxes while the 7th piece of his tattered soul remained inside his body.
It was the part of the soul in his body that fled the Potter’s ruined house after his body was destroyed in the failed attack on baby Harry. It hid in the forests of Albania where Quirrell encountered it & bought it back to Britain. It was that piece of Voldemort’s soul that was used when Peter Pettigrew resurrected him in Goblet of Fire.
Who remembers back in 2005 the night when the book came out people were driving around spoiling the ending to fans shouting, "Dumbledore's dead!"? 😂😂
So the Half-Blood Prince the reason why he's called that is severus's Mother maiden name was Prince, his father was a muggle making him a Half-Blood so Half Blood prince. Now Severus is the one that created the Spells within the book because of that he knows you counter curses that is why Harry could not land a blow on him
When BJ went to get his wand outta the box so quietly
That snack Ron offers Harry is called a mince pie, a delicious festive delicacy made of shortcrust pastry filled with fruit, sugar and spices, warm one up and serve with a dollop of cream👌😋 so glad to see you guys continue your HP adventure! PS me and BJ are wand twins, have my very own elder wand right here 😁
Ron didn't gets hit with the love potion until he ate those chocolates that were meant for Harry in the room, so his whole thing that he had with lavender Brown he was basically into it to a certain point until I just got way too clingy for him
I'll point out a tiny but significant detail in the events at the end of this movie. You'll find out why it's significant in the final two movies. When Dumbledore and Malfoy are alone at the top of the Astronomy Tower, Dumbledore INTENTIONALLY flicks his wand had, as if he's casting a spell, but it's a feint. What he wants, is for Draco to notice, interpret as an attack, and counter him. Hw wants Draco to disarm him. He initiates that after realising that a bunch of Deatheaters had gotten into the castle. He does that before the others turn up.
Those were little Mince pies that they were eating (Harry, Ginny and Ron) which are popular in the UK for Christmas! I love them, but my dude hates them lol! Thanks as always for doing these and sharing
You are doing 2 series that I love, SAW and HARRY POTTER. 1 of the things those 2 series have in common is that they all connect so you need to pay attention. Please do SAW 2 next. You only got to see Jigsaw a couple minutes at the end of the first SAW but you will see a lot of him from now on. Jigsaw, imo, is one of the most interesting characters in movie history.
Thanks for doing both these series!!
Snape's mother's name was Eileen Prince and was a witch and his father was Tobias Snape, a muggle, so he was a half-blood. and the book was Snape's and Harry was using Snapes instructions for potions and tried using SNape's spells against him
i cannot wait til you guys see the actual ending of this! it's such an awesome twist!
How am I just now finding out you guys were doing Harry Potter? Now I gotta go get caught up. See you guys when I get back here.
This took too long Y’all. You two are my fav. Reactors. This one is my fav. Next to the last movie of course.
Considering the number of Weasleys that have attended Hogwarts over the years, i found it odd that Slughorn constantly forgot Ron's last name. The Weasleys are a well-known Wizarding family so I found that a bit odd. As for Ron & Hermione, remember the Yule Ball in the Goblet of Fire with Ron & Hermione? Thats where it REALLY started getting juicy!
He forgets Ron's name because he doesn't think Ron is important or talented enough to remember.
He sees Ginny as special, so shes in the slug club.
He would.remember Percy or Bill or Charlie Weasley because they ranked with him as well.
Ron is not good enough to make the shelf in his eyes.
53:50 Romilda Vane spiked the chocolates with a love potion and left them for Harry. Ron saw the chocolates and ate them. That's how he fell under the spell.
The reason Professor Snape called himself The Half Blood Prince is because his mother who was a witch had the maiden name of "Prince". He loved his mother and was proud of her. But his muggle father was very abusive. Snape hated his father so much that he liked referring to himself as the Half Blood Prince rather than the name of his father's last name of "Snape" during his years as a student in Hogwarts.
The ironic thing about Harry is he always had a hard time learning potions from Professor Snape. But the moment Harry found Snape's old text book with all of Snape's hand written notes and didn't realized that it had belonged to Snape Harry suddenly began to excel in potions.
📖⚗️🧪🪄
I love the quiet focus at the beginning. HP sucks you in!!😊
there's a lot of subtle details in the films that many miss unless they watch it a few times. insanely well directed and acted.
Snape 's mother was a witch named Eileen Prince- his father- Tobias Snape was a muggle- when a magic person marries a muggle- the children are 'Half Bloods' The Half Blood Prince was a name Snape made up for himself- like Voldemorte changing his Half Blood/muggle name.... Snape was a half-blood with a mother named 'Prince'- hence, The Half Blood Prince- the name didn't give him any protections.
You'd be amazed how handy "Avada Kedavera" comes in at the supermarket. Every time I use it, the aisles clear!
damn, my wand must be broken cuz i can never clear an isle like that! hashtag jealous!!
In the book, there's no girl in the beginning and no fire at the Burrow. Also, there are many more memories of Tom Riddle
This was one of my favorites of the series
4:37 : Waitress - " Who's Harry Potter ? "
4:39 : Harry - " Bit of a tosser really ! "
4:45 : Waitress - " 11.00 ... That's when I get off. You can tell ,e all about that tosser Harry Potter ! "
Tosser : British slang : " Some say that tosser is word used to describe a man who masturbates far more than is common, just like with wanker. Others say that tosser is just another term for a jerk or an idiot. "
4:53 'Tosser': English slang, taken from the mastabatory-slang 'tossing off'... It's used to say someone is a fool/idiot/generally annoying person, and can be said while making the hand gesture 'fist diagonally moved quickly up and down', as if spanking the monkey 😁😁😄😄👍👍👍👍
Yees back to potter, this one and the last are my favorites cant wait for the next ones
11:57 Snape finally gets the position as 'Defense against the Dark Arts' professor, but none of the professors in that role ever lasted more than one year.
Not a movie spoiler, but Snape is the Half-blood Prince because his mothers maiden name was Prince and his father is a Muggle. Making him a half-blood.
They actually make Harry Potter wands that shoot fireballs, load a piece of flash paper in the end and an ignighter lights it on fire and can shoot it around 20 feet, being flash paper it's completely harmless but is s fire ball it's what wrestling used to use when they threw fire
Damn.. they sent you the Elder wand!? BJ not allowed to have that much power. It's SEEKER. . not sneaker LMAO.
Please try and watch the last 2 movies as soon as you can, while the story is fresh in your mind. They are fantastic and depict the story of the last book pretty well. All the revelations will have you shook!
A quick note about two Harry Potter actors who, while they never appeared in Dr Who, do have near an incredibly strong family bond to the show. Alfred Enoch, who played Ginny's short term beau Dean, is the son of the first ever male companion who appeared in the very first episode, Russell Enoch/William Russel. The second is Dudley Durlsey himself, Harry Melling, who is the grandson of the second Doctor, Patrick Troughton.
I've kept this list limited to those with direct family connections, as the list of people who have been in both show and movie is extensive. Also, my apologies if I have mad a similar comment in previous Potter reaction videos, my memory really sucks these days. I only mentioned it in this one because Dean is much more prominent than his usual background role.
Fun fact: Idk if you guys have watched Fear the Walking Dead but the young teenage Tom Riddle in this movie was also Nick in the first few seasons of FTWD! I didn't even realize until I rewatched FTWD recently. Great actor. Also this movie hits so much harder and much sadder now that we've lost Dumbledore, RIP Michael Gambon.🥺😢
O my gosh what a movie this one is. If you remember from the last movie, Lucius failed to get the prophecy sphere to give to Voldemort and Lucius got caught and went to Azkaban for it, another reason why Draco stomped on Harry's face and told him "That's for my father" At this point I had in my mind that one day Voldemort is going to make an example of the Malfoys for his failure to get the prophecy because that did not please him at all. Now he's appointed Draco, with a task he knows he will fail at doing so Draco is under pressure to get that other cabinet in the Room of Requirement fixed and then we see him in the restroom having a meltdown because the pressure is too much. Draco is not an assassin and never will be. I think he fantasized as a boy what it would be like with Voldemort in reign based on what his father taught him, but now that he's older, he now knows that Voldemort can kill anybody he wants, even him and his family. You may have missed in Prisoner of Azkaban when Hermione reached out for Ron's hand when she felt scared during the class with the Hippogriff, she's interested in Ron, not well presented in the movies though. Yes, Snape is the half-blood prince and there is a lot more to Snape than meets the eye, you'll find out in Deathly Hallows! Until next time. Peace. ☮
This is my favorite one. Don't keep us in waiting for long for these last two😅😅😅 they are great you guys are going to love them.
The thing beween Ron and Lavender wasn't a love potion. That was judt Ron being suckered in by the first girl to ever kiss him. He still has no clue that Hermione likes him but he's finally starting to realize that he loves Hermione. The love potion in the candy was sent by Romilda Vane and was intended for Harry but he never ate the candies.
Ron wasn't under a love potion with Lavender. It was a combination of teenage hormones and ego. In the books, Ginny mocks Ron about no one ever kissing him so when Lavender showed an interest, he started seeing her although it got old quick. Also, in the opening sequence, the person kidnapped was Ollivander (you will find out why in the next two movies) . As for Tom and the horcruxes, by the time Tom asked Slughorn about the horcruxes, killing someone wasn't just academic. He had already killed by then. The ring he is twisting in the real memory is significant. As for Draco, he went back to Malfoy manor. HBP is one of my favorite books because it takes a really deep dive into Tom Riddle's life and there are all kinds of memories and events the reader learns that we simply don't get in the movie. In all the books, but especially in books 5, 6 & 7, if you are only watching the movies, you are only getting 1/3rd of the story. Lastly, please do not make us wait so long for Deathly Hallows Part 1 & 2. I had almost given up.
Harry is always at home at the beginning of all the movies because they all go home at the end of each movie when the school year is over. He's home for the summer and when he goes back right before school starts again.
The girl at he cafe said, you can twl me all about that "Tosser" Harry potter. Tosser is a slang word
Ron got the love potion through the candy as BJ rightly deduced. Ron was holding the pink box in his hand when he started tripping. It was meant for Harry, sent to him by Romilda Vane, the girl Hermione told Harry liked him in the library because he was the chosen one. But Ron just saw the candy and ate it without realising. In the Goblet of Fire movie, don't forget Hermione was mad at Ron for not asking her to the dance and chased him and Harry off to bed afterwards.
Drunk Harry is the best!
Ya'll should watch this series from the start again. I love your reactions of course, but a 2nd watching on your own will really help to understand what's going on. This series is getting intense!! Next 2 are so amazing.
Too much time between reactions. They don't know what's going on. It's a bit frustrating as it lets us know they only are watching for the views it will generate. Don't think they took it seriously from the beginning .. assumed it was all for kids. Not that it evolves. However, I still enjoy watching their reactions to series.
God Bless to you both from my mom and I in So. Cal USA. Love your channel! :)
Hello from the central CA coast!
Been waiting so long for this one! 😂 ❤ Love the reaction! It just gets darker btw. Once you finish this series you guys have to watch the Fantastic Beasts movies!❤❤❤
oh yeah, book 7 part 1 goes freaking OFF THE RAILS dark. but it does get good, in part 2. i promise! but it's in the most epic way!
I always get emotional watching the Harry potter movies just hits home and brings back some good times this one is my favorite apart from the last one I watched this one 4 times in theaters 😂
Pretty interesting! Good review guys!👍🏽👍🏽
My fav movie of the series. Alan Rickman is outstanding as Snape (even if he is older in the film the he is in the book). This one leads so well into the final two, you HAVE to watch the next two soon. Everything will make sense in the end, and you won't see it coming 🙂
That's THE Elder Wand- and you'll find out more in the next 2 films....
The ONLY HP memorabilia is the elder wand. Love it.
I got my friend an Elder Wand for Christmas a few years ago. I want to get one for myself.
Spoiler alert!
@@dalegee9495 I was talking about the wand BJ was sent- he didn't say who's it was, neither did I.
She said Tosser, repeating it after Harry did.
It's the same game as you saw in the other movies: Quidditch. The big balls are only for throwing thru the hoops. There are 3 types of balls, like he said in the first movie: The quaffle, bludger, and the snitch.
Slughorn didn't mean to poison Ron, as he told Dumbledore that he intended on giving that bottle of wine to Dumbledore as a gift. He never knew that the bottle was poisoned and he wasn't the person who poisoned it.
Where the stuff does disappear where does it go though, from the Vanishing Cabinet? They showed you in this movie. Remember the scene where Ron said, "Is it just me or do Draco and mummy look like two people who don't want to be followed?", then they went straight into Borgin & Burkes. Then, later on, Arthur Weasley told Harry, "I believe the thing Draco is so interested in.. is a Vanishing Cabinet. They can transport you practically anywhere." Harry responded, "What happened to the one at Borgin & Burkes?", and Arthur replied, "Nothing. It's still there.".
Snape really didn't want to kill Dumbledore, but he made the vow. Right before Harry and Dumbledore went on that journey to find a horcrux, Snape and Dumbledore were alone talking on top of the tower and Snape said in this movie, "Has it crossed your brilliant mind that I don't want to do this anymore? Dumbledore replied, "Snape, you promised." Then Snape walked out.
Hermione told Harry, You see her? That girl behind me? "That is Remilda Vain. Apparently, she's trying to smuggle you a love potion because she thinks you're the chosen one.". Harry replied, "But I am the chosen one.". *SMACK* Later on, Harry came into the dorm and found Ron with an opened heart-shaped box of chocolates that he says were for Harry, but he couldn't resist to try 1 or 2. He even mentions that he's now in love with Remilda Vain and shows her picture on a Valentine's Day card that came with the box. The chocolates were for Harry and the love potion was inside them, but Ron dug in without containing himself once he saw them on Harry's bed.
@BJ think about what you said at around the 55:00 min mark. it's very important. 😊❤
Amazing video thanks for uploading Asia and BJ
Great reaction guys!
At the cafe, Harry says Harry Potter is "a bit of a tosser" when she asks. Tosser means someone stupid or annoying. She says "I get off at eleven. You can tell me all about that tosser Harry Potter." (If I was Harry I'd be there, she is cute!!)
"I think this one needs some adult supervision." It has been pointed out before that if Hogwarts was real with its moving staircases and dangerous potions, there'd be a lot of dead and injured kids! Unless of course Dumbledore has a spell in place to prevent that, and I wouldn't put it past him.
The love spell chocolates were a Christmas gift to Harry from Romilda Vane, a younger student who has a crush on Harry. Ron got them by mistake.
Boy got himself the Elder wand.
I think in the future retrospectively people will view this as the best Harry Potter film. Personally it's my favourite.
