  • Hey its Zach from 718motorpool and today were going to be taking a look at the awkward step cousin of the streethawk the strobehawk! The strobehawk was a poorly conceived strobe version of the streethawk released around 1990. It only sold for a few years and wasnt a great seller and was discontinued around the mid 1990s.

Could you do a history video on the federal signal vector?

I somehow ran across a Chinese knock off of these once. Kinda wish I kept it cause it was super silly. Ended up replacing both strobe supplies, ironically, with Federal signal supplies.

@@The718Motorpool I also made Mini Whelen Advantedge from a bunch of parts, ended up trading a 9M bar for a busted up tow Advantedge, and then ordered a Galls variant of the Advantedge that popped up on eBay, removed the strobe supplies and retrofitted the reflectors and base of the Tow Advantedge and installed 2 rotary lights and 1 LeFrance rotary light in it. I mounted it on my Sambar (jdm kei truck) and it just looks so good.
