Thank you for your cheerful 😊 attitude. So often you see hikers in burn-out mode by the time they reach Washington and forget to film that beautiful state. I hope the fires are under control by the time you reach Canada. Can you show us your new tattoo?
Enjoyed this section too. Thanks for sharing.
I missed this one. #23 oh yeah!
Hi, Arielle! Sooo sorry you’ve been feeling so miserable! Ironically, it just had to happen on some of the most breathtaking portions of the PCT. That doesn’t help one to appreciate and physically enjoy the trail despite trying to keep positive! I was so surprised to notice on your recent episodes that there was no real mention of 14,411 ft. Mt. Rainier. I guess the route of the PCT bypasses Mt. Rainier National Park? Rainier so dominates Washington State, you cant really avoid seeing it! I did see it in passing in a couple of shots, though! I know it’s all in retrospect for you now, but I DO hope you started to feel MUCH better from the end of this episode!
God all mighty!! That's beautiful
SUCH A STUNNING AREA!!!
Prayers and positive thoughts sending your way . . .
Thank you so much!
Arielle and her crew have made doing this trail look easy!! I’m in awe 😮😮😮❤❤❤
🥰🥰
Your journey on the PCT looks amazing. Beautiful section. Glad you were enjoying your time. Keep trekking. 😀 sorry about your hip flexor and not feeling well. Take care of you.
Awww thank you! It was the journey of a lifetime for sure :)
I have been enjoying the music.
Thank you so much! I'll let my husband know- he puts a lot of time and energy into choosing it! :)
Hope you feel better! You guys are awesome!
Thank you so much!
Always conquering with a great attitude!!🌻💛
Aw thank you, I try my best
You touched on it there are minute 3:40. Are there sections you would like to take your time to do over and enjoy it more?? Also, are there sections that you didn't enjoy and would have cruised by anyway. What a bummer about the forest fires, we thought we had dodged it again this summer like last summer but no. 😩 These are great Arielle, thanks!
Simple marvelous, what a beautiful place.. thanks for sharing
🥰🥰
The tatoos, that's awesome!
sounds like you got the noro. You just got lucky in that it wasn't a bad case.
Sending positive vibes to you. Feel better soon. Happy trails!❤
Thank you so much!
I have really enjoyed watching your journey from Mexico to Canada!
Thank you so much for following along! :)
Hike your hike Lil girl...Enjoy
Thank you!
oh wow. one of the best.
Thank you! Such a pretty section of trail!
I am so sorry you had to go through this rough patch in Washington like this. You have such a positive attitude, so it was hard to see you struggling. Seems like you did not deserve being sick and injured with all of the tough miles you had already come through at this point. But like you said, nothing always goes perfectly in backpacking. As a runner, I am trying to work through a hip flexor problem myself, but I can't even imagine how to deal with this kind of issue for 20-25 miles, day after day, without any rest. Hopefully it got better for you over time.
Aww thank you. It was definitely tough at times, but so grateful for the experience and that I was able to complete the whole thing! ❤️
Nancy and Anne gave us the details at Grandma’s birthday dinner. Interesting 95th with Ian going by.
Can we see a closeup of the new tat? And the views are pure manic for sure! It just gives you a sense of peace to look at them.
The pink flowers in the woods…so beautiful. I think it might be fireweed? It looks like what we have here in East Tennessee in burn areas and it’s named fireweed here.
Yes, it is fireweed.
"unhappy digestively"
Not sure what altitude you have been hiking at, but it sounds like you could have mild altitude sickness. Hike high, sleep low!
Where did you get your tats?
So show us the tattoos!
What's with the adverts every 2 minutes 🙄
It's incredible to see how the PCT culture changed over the years. Nowdays it is "AT style" of tramilies and group hiking. Very few solo hikers out there. The insane increase in the number of people attemping the PCT has contributed to this immensly. Oh well. I hope you enjoy the rest of your hike and be safe.
