Dear Arielle, This was an awesome ending video for your PCT hike. It felt so complete and inclusive as a viewer. Appreciate you talking about the anxiety piece as one who experiences it too. I am inspired to check out the Hot Springs near Stanley which is not far from our new home! All the best to you and looking forward to your future Sunday videos! You have a beautiful, inspiring way.💗🙏✨

Dear Arielle, i want to thank you for sharing your journey! This is one of the best documented PCT hikes i have seen and I follow several every year. I appreciated your honesty, the ups and the down and the perfect balance of nature/hiking and personal journey dialogue. I also wanted to share a shout out to your man for the awesome editing and the music. He is very talented. If there is any way you could post a link to all the music you used, i would love it as a play list for my next road trip. I think i have watched every one of your videos and while i am excited for you to get back to school and moving on with your other dreams, i will miss watching your adventures on the PCT. I am glad you will continue to post on sundays! I look forward to your adventures to come. Beautiful job on this documentary and congratulations on completing this epic journey. Jennifer

Loved this video! I can imagine you leading groups of 4 of 5 women out on trail for their 1st time hike, advising them on gear, navigating, meals and safety. You have such a beautiful inclusive personality, lol it would take a lot of patience on your part though! As a mom of an adult child who has anxiety and depression I understand blocking very well and it is one of the best tools out there for getting things done and relieving the ADD symptoms, that and nutrition. Best wishes on your schooling and looking forward to going with you downunder if you you decide to do so! So glad your fur baby Taber did not suffer a more serious injury, look like she will be right as rain in no time she looked soooo glad to see her mama!

Hi, Arielle... It was lovely watching your epilogue video! Thanks for that. I loved seeing two favorite places in that epilogue-Arches and Maroon Bells. In my traveling hiking days (in the Maroon Bells instance, Fall 1967, we camped within yards of your camera viewpoint, for 10 days! I actually played piano in the lobby of the Jerome Hotel). I’m not sure the piano is still there, but maybe the Jerome still is.😊
Well, I turned 80 on Sunday the 10th with my wife, all three daughters, my brother and other fam members over a week. I spent the last day of my 70s playing a jazz piano gig in Bremerton which kept my mind off the age thing! It really helped! You see, the bod is 80, but the mind is 30! Often it is difficult to comprehend the dichotomy of the two states of my being! There is a dearth of people my age who can say their music of choice is Pentatonix (I wrote and personally delivered a Christmas song to them), Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak Silk Sonic, Lady Gaga, Yuja Wang and the Prokofiev 2nd Piano Concerto... Hey, I could go on and on. Sorry, but watching your videos always excites my creative spirit!
If you’d like to hear that Pentatonix Christmas song-or my American Prize-winning (3rd Prize) “Four Elegiac Songs In The Time Of Covid” send me an email and I’ll send you some MP3s. rmac10@comcast.net
It has really been a pleasure watching your videos and I plan to continue watching your offerings in the future! Blessings to you and your husband! 🥰🎹🎼🏔

I think you got it exactly right when you discussed the pace of life contributing to so much to depression and anxiety. You also shared really valuable tools such as time-blocking and elevating self-care to the top of your list. It frees you up to do what is needed when you take care of yourself. Best of luck with all of your pursuits, I know you’ll do great things!

I started watching your CZcams channel because I was searching for vlog information specifically on the PCT. I have been watching several other PCT vlogs as well. For many vlogs I have discontinued the channel after the person went off trail. Sometimes that's because their channel was only about the PCT. Sometimes it was because the content producer had -- what shall we say -- an "attitude" that was condercending or otherwise offputting, and I didn't need that once the PCT content was finished.
You have never been that way. As others pointed out, you are kind, friendly, and inclusive. At the same time, you are honest -- when things are not going well, you keep it real -- and that's important for people who are considering trying to undertake a major trek.
Thank you for having brought us along. I look forward to watching your channel more in the coming weeks and months.

Your attitude on trail was very noticeable. I think your attention to wholistic nutrition ,Yoga etc. has everything to do with it. Even though the trail almost makes it impossible to incorporate a nutritional diet and thru hiking over stresses the physical body. Your pre- hike preparations enabled you a building block for a successful thru hike. I know I’m very interested in wholistic nutrition and how it pertains to hiking endurance and extreme temperature adaptations. Thank you so very much for sharing this hike. Looking forward to future hikes.

You are an exceptional young lady and hope you recognize that. It's too bad how many young women struggle with this. I appreciated your vibrant personality and the positive attitude you exuded. Keep it up and enjoy your life each day and don't overstress. Advice from a former teacher and 76 year old man. I maintain an active lifestyle with hikes, frequent tennis and other activities.

Post trail depression is real. You go from the planing for months or years and the anticipation of the trail once on trail it's a relatively simple life of walking, eating, sleeping, cat holes, resupply with people doing the same thing with the same goal for months then suddenly it comes to an abrupt end and it's over and those people you were with everyday are gone and you are in the real world with all the noise and sensory overload and your friends and family don't really understand what you actually did and can't really relate to any of the stories you tell them . Planning another adventure and keeping in touch with friends from the trail and keeping busy helped me. In time you readjust to life off trail.
